Place funny pictures of cats in random directories. That should distract anyone from noticing traces of internet spaceships.

You can't. Eve gets into your very soul and you can never be rid of it.

On topic - stop using PCs to do thinngs you shouldn't be doing on them and you won't have this problem in the future.

This.

If you are that worried, why did you install it in the first place.

Download a bunch of porn. The kinkier the better, like some next level Japan sh!t. Make desktop short cuts for the porn, too. Whoever it is that you are passing the laptop to will be so focused on the porn they won't even care about some EVE .dll.

When has a little worry ever stopped anyone from doing anything.. outside of the whole 'AFK Cloaking' debate thing?

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I see you have never met the wrath of the competent IT gods when they find StarCraft on your business laptop that stopped working for some reason that was probably not spilled coffee and/or zergling rush asshattery/rage related.. leading to the loss of a somewhat important presentation that someone didn't backup because reasons.

Hehe, reminds me of the time when I spilled a beer all over my laptop. I ran the line that I am so hard working that I even work while drinking. Which was actually even true now that I think about it. And Dell even covered it under warranty!

Games are against my work's policy but given that Skype, an application I use all the time, is also banned because it is a "file sharing" application I firmly ignore all their edicts on the ground that the fool who wrote them is obviously incompetent. IT remotes in all the time and no-one ever cares that EVE is sitting there proudly at the top of the start menu.

Does Revo Uninstaller leave any traces? I ran the reinstall of Windows already so my laptop is clean. But for my future reference, does Revo itself need to be installed?

I'm having trouble believing anyone cares that much about finding out you played EVE.

Just do some keyword searches to find and delete entries in the registry, repeat for hard disk files.

Hey Jeff,

As you know, you're up for review as the District Manager. We had an amazing proposal written up to promote you to VP of Sales, earning a modest six-figure salary with company paid vacations and a brand new car. We even bought a few new hookers just for you.
Then, we had IT go through your computer and it turns out you play this internet game named Eve Online. We checked it out and, well, there's nothing good to be said about it. We've given the position to Sarah instead.

You have 24 hours to clean out your desk.
