The issue with Nevil, the answer is no.
and instead of just thinking...okay, so be it.

He comes up with totally insane reasons why it is wrong.
if he knows it so much better, let him make his own game or apply for a job at CCP to change it. Or put it up in the summit.

The simple fact, he is answered every time and then keeps posting weird stuff that is totally irrelevant.



No, you can not build named modules. They come from loot drops.

Why, because that is how CCP desogned it to be. Simple and answered no need to come up with twisted things that only he can understand and that are totally illogical.


If he wanted logic, he would be surprised how EVE is.
* Planets etc are stationary instead of in orbit.
* How comes we need constant engine power in a vaccum.
* How in the world do you implant a book in your head when learning a skill.
* If it means you read it, how come it disappears.
* How comes you can bump into anything without damage being applied.

Etc. Etc.

I think the only reason why meta 2 - 4 seem to me like they should be on the production like is how common they are.

Whether it is a good enough reason, I wouldn't like to say, seeing as I haven't spent the last eleven years as a computer games developer but yes it is most definitely a reason.

Given that a large number of Meta 1-4 are encountered I thought it plausible that they might be manufactured
within the scope of game play.
I was asked for my reasoning for thinking that concept was plausible.

Eeerm , because a large number of them are encountered.

You might see BPO of the Meta items become a thing or an addition/increase in BPC drops of them, once the module rebalancing is completed.

Once module rebalancing happens the meta items *might* see an increase in use that outweighs the current ability to keep them supplied. There would logically need to be a way to keep them available in the market and simply increasing their drops in missions to counteract this perhaps serves as too great a buff.

I'd wait to see what happens with module rebalancing.
