Houm, it's kind of difficult to imagine how does taste the mix of two ingredients when you've never tasted one of them... but it looks gross. Ugh

Wow. What color are they going to be again? Doritos Unnatural Orange or Mountain Dew Toxic Avenger Green? How are they going blend conflicting colors on one chip? Maybe orange with Dew green flecks.

Got to admire food engineers. What a tough job. It seems like you'd need to be a real multidisciplinary Renaissance man. Engineer. Organic and inorganic chemist. Culinary scientist. Visual artist/food graphic designer.

But, what about the art of designing a packaged food with optimized texture/mastication appeal? Is there a recognized artistic discipline for that? Maybe it's part of what's called culinary science. Not like chef stuff, but a subset of it, focusing on packaged foods with long shelf lives.

Man, what a complicated job. Would you want to be responsible for taking the Mountain Dew Dorito from idea, to design, to production? And then, to the make or break test-- the Mountain Dew Dorito product taste, by the power suits in the board room. Well, would you?
