Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Hi there, yesterday I had strange time with scanning. I found one Guristast Minor shipyard (sig strength 1.25%) and looted it in my home system. Then I found wormhole, scanned it down, jumped and scaned another one and moved straight through.

Now that wormhole system had two nullsec sites, one relic and one data. I scanned them down and by the time I started hacking I had a blip on d-scan, so I switched to combat probes and kept the tabs on guy until I looted both sites.

I returned home and since then I could not scan down a single site apart from those training ones.

When I found something I managed to get it to around 22-23% strength at 8AU probe radius, but zooming down to 4AU I lost the signal completely. Extending to 8 AU the signal returned , but kept bouncing around. This happened with all the signatures I tried to probe.

Now, this kind of behavior sometimes happens when I switch between combat and core probes in one flight. After I use combat probes and switch back to core probes the core probes seem to behave like they had the strength and resolution of combat ones.

Usually I just dock and log off/ log in to shake that strange effect off, but it did not work that way yesterday.

Now my skills are Astrometrics IV, Astrometric Pinpointing IV, Astrometric Rangefinding II.

I usually dont have any problems scannig sites whatsoever, only when I switch probe types during flight.
