Null sec data and relic sites in wh

Why CCP did this? What was the point? Its so frustrating now. This sites brings no money and just consumes my time. Its just garbage in my wh. Now I cant live there normally because there are tons of such sites spawning in my wh all over the day. Cant CCP at least reduce its spawning rate so it will spawn at same rate as usual w-space data and relic sites?

My team has enjoyed the feature. More stuff for ships to do in space is a welcome change.

The high spawn rate likely cooresponds to a high use rate.

I just hope that it is a place holder and they will change it to wormhole specific sites that do the same.

No local in null sec would fix everything!

Basically the only valid complaint about CCP giving us more stuff to do.

I've made a few hundred million from casual hacking of these sites and upgraded three more pulse batteries of my tower to faction ones.

I just did some statistics.
central serpentis data: 9min 45sec - 2.2kk
central angel data: 11min 30 sec - 5.3kk
ruined guristas relic: 9min - 3kk

So its about 20kk per hour - worse than anything!

If you don't like them, you can despawn the sites by failing your hacking attempt at each can two times.

OR you wait for some k-space scrubs to come in and try your sites ... then you blow them up ;)

Or you can leave the cans untouched and start mining in some. Just like scannable grav sites in the good old times. A little bit of extra safety.

Does anyone know if for example a Null Sec relic/data site in a C6 is more difficult/lucrative than in a C1, or are they just Null Sec level difficulty, regardless of the wh?

You're doing it wrong if you're clearing them. The best isk/hr from these sites comes from cargo scanning and just hacking the few cans worth something.

With this technique I made 100m isk from 2 cans by scanning 6 sites yesterday in about 15 minutes total (2 mins of actual hacking).

So... 100m in 15 minutes, but it's really a crap shoot.

Yeah, well, it's just like my opinion, man.

Use a cargo scanner on the hackable containers and you will know what loot is available 30 seconds after warping in.
The tools are there for you to use, but instead you bleat on the forums. *shrugs*

Cant find any asteroids to mine in them:(

Yh cargo scanners are good, i should have used them. But still i think theese sites are annoying. They spawn to often and disrupts my farming because extra signature is always an alarm since it could be new k162.

We have found these an absolutely massive improvement to our experience,

1. Scanners when on early in the day have some income whilst doing a vital and thankless job.
2. When activity begins to rise later in the day large numbers of people are in them and searching for them. Excellent, now there is life in lower class holes and stuff to chase around and hunt.
3. Those shot bring friends, we bring more ships, big furballs of fun!

A minor addition that is having an effect far bigger than imagined +10Lol

This is what improving the PVE experience means, you have healthy vibrant alive prey, and the PVP will follow.

Gives newbro's some solo content.

Gives a small incentive to scouts.

Indy guy seems to like em....

Ganks!

Cons;

Moar scanning?

PS; I pulled 88million from a single site....plus, Ganks!

On the contrary, I've always found my C2 data/relic sites to be extremely subpar. Null-class sites are a blessing, you can get tens of millions from one relic site without the hazard of venturing into null.

Plus blowing up ships is just such a nuisance.

These null data/rellic sites in lower class wh's I have found are nothing more then awsomesauce. Good implementation ccp, well done. +1 for pvp and pve (yeah its mostly just frigs but it is still somthing to hunt pvp wise and or bait with).
