Drake PVE fit help

I wanted some advice on the Drake for SOE level 4. I put this one together and on paper, the tank is 457 or so. DPS at 510 with all level V skills. I probably could swap out the EM Ward and put Thermal or Kinetic Hard in there if needed. Or use a Navy EM Ward Amp and cut back the cpu. Any advice on it?

It's total overkill. The SoE arc is designed to be run in a moderately well skilled frigate or destroyer. Anything larger just isn't needed unless your skills are bad.

Since the arc involves a lot of travel larger ships actually complete it slower than smaller ones.

I'm not running the arc, I do level 4 security missions for Sisters. I wanted to try something old school, like the Drake to see how it would do.

Using a Drake for level 4s is like using scissors to mow the lawn. Will it work? Sure, but it won't be pretty and will take considerably longer then using the right tool for the job.

My bad. I don't know how I managed to derp that. Must be one of those mornings.

So yeah, the Drake is not a great ship for L4 missions. Between medium weapons just not having the DPS and projection of large ones and HMLs being terrible its just a good PVE boat past L3's, It can do L4's mind you, its just slow at it.

Look into a Tengu or CNR instead.
