Looking for estimation on 10 days staying in Iceland

I'm looking for some vacation soon, and I'm sorting out possible destinations to go...

Among them, Iceland is in my mind for a reason I don't know yet Lol... so I'm looking for any information about rough estimation on staying there for 10 days...

If anyone went there or anyone who lives there (aka Devs P) could give me an idea about this... I would really appreciate it.

Are you planing to eat from bins?

Are you planing on sleeping in a box?

Giving you any idea of how much it would cost, depends on what you want to do and how comfortable you want to be.

I will say this though, Iceland is exspensive, relatively speaking. But well worth a visit, especially in winter when its covered in Snow.

Thousands and thousands of Euros, or Dollars.

The vikings didn't vanish, they retreated to iceland and became hoteliers and gift shop owners. For the unprepared the price tags are a horror to behold and their blonde haired smiling faces a source of nightmares.

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Ok.. so for the wife and I to go to fan fest and stay a week (Monday till sun) it cost us with a fan fest packacage ~2000. But this was also a package deal so might cost more being a non package.

in addition the food is expensive. We went to fan fest in 07 and for dinner at one place we had a burger and lamb steak and a drink... after converting it was around $85. So keep that in mind, you will need a few thousand.

£730 for 9 nights including flights, shuttle bus and breakfast. £650 if you don't want a fridge.
