Hey guys, after much deliberation I have decided to give away a decent sum of my belongings before I depart.

You have 8 days to convince me that you should be the recipient of these goodies...

Good luck. Cool

EDIT: The grand prize will be one (1) Jim Era's Corpse
If you are unaware, there is not a single one of these in circulation. Jim Era has never been podded. Show off your PvP prowess with a one of a kind trophy like this!

If your going to give most of your stuff away, perhaps donate whatever to some new players or an organization that helps out new players. Just a thought.

Sorry to hear you go, I assume it's because of the changes to Eve online throughout the last few years?

Don't kid yourselves. Even the dirtiest pirates from the birth of EVE have been carebears. They use alts to bring them goods at cheap prices and safely, rather than live with consequences of their in game actions on their main, from concord to prices

Yes, and no... more due to the changes that never happened...

I got bored, I've rarely actually played eve online, I've just paid for it...and my year sub is almost up so I decided to just let it lapse.

You're aware that you will no longer be able to post here?

Looking at the number of likes you received and your statement that you rarely played Eve, I just wanted to make you aware that your favorite part of Eve will go away too...

second thoughts?

EDIT: Why I should have your stuff... I always wanted to try out the ISK doubler services, but was scared to use my own ISKies:)

Can I haz ur stuff then? Best way to play EVE is to be dirt poor again. Extra points if you loss iRL skill points via deathcloning in an alpha clone so you have to relearn all of EVE again because EVE is Real™(CCP said so).

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

Damn it Jim, why do you have to ruin my good day. This genuinely made me sad.

If you do go and in the future come back let me know and we will see if LAGL can do a whip round for you.

Ill miss your Wats and your truly random times being onlime in the LAGL channel.

Good luck in all your endeavours. o7

Well firstly I'll say you should hang onto your stuff because you will be glad for it when you come back.

That said I'll humor you in this and assure you that anything that finds itself in my inventory will most assuredly meet an abrupt and hilarious end in a glorious fireball instigated by my own drunken incompetence and/or hubris.

Until that point however said assets would likely be used for the old eve tradition of shooting newbie's in the face,
and If they take it well,
will summarily be showered in advice, ship fits, links to resources and sometimes isk.
many a fine PvP carreer has begun this way, mine did and I will readily take the time to talk to a genuine newbie who happens to have found himself on my killboard, regardless of the circumstances.

In short, keep your stuff dude but if you really want to go I'll happily provide hilarious and entertaining demises for any and all the things.

I would use your funds to finance ongoing operations of enduring punishment of pilots of all factions and coleur. I would also buy a cat for each ship I own.

To the OP...I'm going to have to agree with the above statement..Keep your stuff...you never know if you'll get that Eve itch down the line...but...if you must give it away..Ralph King-Griffin has given the most noble cause yet for a viable and honorable use for your stuff. :)

If I had a nickel for every time someone said women don't play eve, I'd have a bag of nickels to whack the next person who said it..
