Do drones no longer auto-attack? I was mining this morning, went AFK for a few minutes, and came back to find three pirates attacking, with my drones just orbiting my ship. I verified that the drones were set to aggressive and also attack & follow.

how large is your drone command range? if the pirates aggress your ship outside the command range, the drones won't react, even if they then get closer

Must have been a glitch in my session this morning...working just fine tonight.

All of my drone skills are at 5, so distance wouldn't have been a problem. Just a hiccup I guess.

I have the same problem. Using double ishtars to rat with.
I have 100km drone command range. Only 1set of drones
attacks automaticly the other set stays idle. Even if new
rats appear and distance is only 15km from the drones.

Had it happen again this morning...but this time, I noticed the rat ships hit me with sensor dampeners. I had to manually lock on to one of the rats to get my drones involved. After that, my drones cleaned up the other two without having to be manually targeted.

Your drones are secretly sympathizers for all pirate factions. Can't trust anyone, or anything in this game!
