Right now at 710 MW, while other command ships have 1200+

It can't even fit a gang link.

Other command ships dont have missile launchers.

If you want to compare the nighthawks fitting trouble to anything, compare it to the teir 2 tech 1 drake which gets 140 more grid (18%) with only one extra launcher slot to fill.

Other command ships however can fit their weapons AND a ganglink without fitting mods.

Why don't you fix NH's powergrid issue? Everyone agrees it's broken.

NH balance - is the Nighthawk actually underpowered? I see people saying that there's things that they'd like to be able to do but can't due to grid issues, but is this driven by "the NH is really underpowered/under-used compared to other ships in its class because of this grid issue"?

So what?

After fitting a full rack of HML IIs and a ganglink, the NightHawk has 120.5 PG left
After fitting a full rack of HAM IIs and a ganglink, the Nighthawk has 7.1 PG left Roll

After fitting a full rack of HPL IIs and a ganglink, the Absolution has 521.35 PG remaining
After fitting a full rack of HBL IIs and a ganglink, the Absolution has 283.75 PG remaining

After fitting a full rack of 425mm AC IIs and a ganglink, the Sleipnir has 654.8 PG remaining
After fitting a full rack of 720mm Arty IIs and a ganglink, the Sleipnir has a deficit of 107.5PG - but it has the option of dropping to a lower tier waepon system, the 650mm Arty II, leaving it with 239 PG. The Nighthawk has no such option.

In before someone claims that the Nighthawk doesn't need a prop mod because of missiles.

Easy fix for obvious problem. /sigh

So because some other command ships might be even shittier, the NH shouldn't be fixed.

How about they are all brought in line? I guess typing a few numbers is too difficult. Other devs fix balance in a short amount of time, and deal with a lot more complex issues than that. With CCP we have to wait for years for them to change a few numbers around.

and I can't make sense out of Greyscale's answer.

Probably because CCP has one of the most hateful and entitlement ridden playerbases. I wouldn't want to fix anything for you people either.

It wasn't supposed to be an answer. Merely a runaround. Just check out the rest of my questions and the stuff I got back.

lol beams on an Abso, that's cute.

You shouldn't be putting a ganglink on a NH in general, and for the Abso, you fit a 1600mm plate and there goes 500 PG like that. Drop DPS for moar tank or just drop the ganglink? Caldari ships in general have ****** PG. So one is gimped more than the others, be happy you don't have to armor tank. It may seem like alot to you, but even with 283 PG left on an Abso, that's still a really tight fit. At least fitting mods don't take up your tanking slots.

Also, LOL Sleipnir.
