Ship Invention Datacore Inconsistency

According to the original dev blog, it should be fairly simple to figure out which datacore and skills are required to invent certain ships, but I find that is not the case.

The thorax invents with High Energy Physics which makes total sense if you are inventing the deimos, but inventing the phobos doesnt make any sense.

The executioner invents with High Energy Physics which doesnt make sense no matter what you invent from it.

The Kestrel invents with Mechanical Engineering but it should really be High Energy Physics

The thrasher invents again with high energy physics, but it should really be graviton physics

What are the reasons for these inconsistencies?

All you need is to look at the T1 ship you're deriving from.
There's no need to overcomplicate things just because your T2 hull's role is not the same as the T1.

If the T1 ship is an attacking ship, expect High Energy Physics.
