- After shield is gone, modules in med slot will get high chance to be damaged. It works as overheat: 10% - 20%...until module is destroyed. Same to low slot modules after armor down to 0.

- Shield/Armor tank modules as 1600mm plate or Large shield extender will be vulnerable than other, since they are taken lot of dmg.

Since Idea about module damaged is hit is badWhat? I have another idea Lol

Ideas about dscan:

- Merge dscan and probing together to one window that includes 1 - 4 tabs. You can add one/many target types for one tab to scan.

Make new module called radar. Scan range will depend on ship's size and type. Pod have very limit range, next is shuttle, give bonus to Recon and may be BO BS. Everyship will have one more slot for this module.

So how will this new scan system work?

About dscan change

It will have same window as probing, but only one sphere (like the one with tactical map or probe) around your ship. Radius of sphere depend on these factors:

- Radar size.
- Target that you want to scan down: Structure, Ship, Wreck...
- Radar mode: passive/active.

Active mode will have bigger range, scsan faster, but also buff your ship's signal for xx secs. Make it easier for enemy to scan you down.

Passive mode has shorter range, longer to scan a target down.

After you scan, there will be symbols on map that tell you where those targets are, or appears on sensor overlay for amount of times. Give you better awareness and picture of situation.

So what's about prober? How do it work now? My simple solution is making radar that can launch probe, but only for Explore ship. They scan far outside range of their radar, but it will have limited range, not entire solar system, still further than BS or Capital.

Question:
If two ships stay within radar's range of each other, can they warp to? Will this change how we do combat?

What if explore ship can relay scan result to other ships in fleet (as Overview sharing)? No more waiting scout ship to warp, then FC warp fleet.

Still have no idea about finding afk cloaky camper 24/7 Lol

Didn't this used to be a thing?

Unless it's just my memory playing tricks on me I think back in 2005/2006 when you took hull damage there was a chance your modules would take damage (similar to how overheating causes damage now).

Shield tankers by and large are done when hull hit.

Armour tank can tend to rely on small damage bleeding into hull between rep cycles.

And hull tankers, well, do I have to say how they tank?

So question is....what did armour and hull tankers do to you? lol.

hers a tip for you, slaves increase pod hpBlink
a corpie and myself got hotdropped a while ago and both got our ships wrecked,
both knew how to get our pods out and both got hit with a smart bomb
he got poped and i made it out with 12% armour on my pod.

That's good information to have right there. Have you done any testing as regards the amount of slaves versus the bonus? It would be fantastic if it scaled so that your pod could get battleship levels (or MORE) of hp.

I'm not sure what you mean by "by and large are done" maybe by large?
I'd like to have a word with you there, most shield tankers use DCUs so their hulls are just as effective as armor ships albeit base hull hp being up to 10-30% lower.

I have won more fights in hull than not.

EvE-Mail me if you need anything.

well that was a full set of midgrades so i doubt it will go much higher, if i can catch someone convince someone to help test it out ill report back

Ok, this is the part where I laugh awkwardly and confess I thought you were jokingly talking about the commodity, not the implants.

"By and large" is a phrase in English (if you're not a native speaker) that is comparable, in this case, to saying "The majority of shield tankers..." or "In most cases shield tankers...".

While you're not wrong about DCUs, I think I agree with Arya. A shield tanker, who is into hull, has already had there reps/buffer overcome long enough to get into hull so whatever small value of hull they have represents a small percentage of the damage already done. Phrased another way, if you've taken a shield ship into hull then it won't take much damage to pop them given that you've already blasted through their shield and kept up the damage through armor while, presumably, they were repping.
