Currently inactive player. Just curious about the basics of the new expansion ships we have coming. Google is giving me articles just saying 'it's coming' and the ships aren't on the wiki's, but then I see threads about potential builds and design changes, so I assume it's available for play test somehow.

Could someone in the know give me the basics on the four new ships? Slot layout, general idea of how fast they are compared to the current line up, and what kind of bonuses they get?

When I left I was looking at general frigate fun, but also playing a dedicated damage dealing ship for small gang. I think the last one I liked was the Muninn but I was torn between HAC speed and large weapons. These sound like a nice happy medium so I'm very interested.

Okay Vex Vex Vex! I do not remember all the tiny details but I remember the big ones! It will have 8 high slots able to fit only Large Hybrid Weapons. The bonuses are %5 Damage per level and 7.5% Optimal per level I thiiiink. It has... 6 medium slots and 3 lows (maybe). They have no drone bays and have smaller signature than normal battlecruisers. They also are speedy! Like as fast as a super fast ship that you might see.

Originally it had 4 low slots so just pray for that to come back!

Sorry about vagueness, that is as much as I can remember. Im sure someone will come along who knows more!

This is pretty much the gist of it. These new BC's will be able to fit large, battleship sized turrets, but have extremely minimal tank. The Naga in particular is interesting, because it will become the new highest-DPS subcap rail sniper in the game. (Adding to the fact is the damage bonus that rails are getting in Crucible)

8 highs for large weapons!?

Does Minmatar get 8 artillery cannons? :O

Tornado is my only non-frig ship for life if it can load 8 large guns and move at a decent speed.

Yes, the tornado can fit 8 large guns, has a 5% RoF and Falloff bonus per battlecruiser skill level.
5 mids, 4 lows and has a base speed of 225 m/s making it the fastest battlecruiser in the game.

NOES TBH !!

Improve Naga's and Talos then everything will look fine.

Oracals (you made me laugh on his one) are a little bit tanky and have one if not the best dmg projection I must agree on this.
