Well, after getting a little refresher course in scanning, I been having a blast scanning down WHs in nulsec. I gone in after book marking the entrance and exit and just look around on dscan to see whats in there. I even scanned down other sigs that's taken me to other WHs and do the process over again to make sure I could find my way back.

Been a few that's dropped me into nulsec somewhere else or even into losec also, and seeing how far from home I get is quite a sense of how far you can go. No telling what my next exploration will find me going but I'm sure it will be excitinga swell. 07

Welcome to w-space. As an ex-provi dweller I can tell you now that wormholes are an excellent commodity to a certain Caldari female fc, espectially null exits.

For more personal use you may find the new data/relic sites handy for your wallet

Good luck with your future w-space endevours!

Don't forget about bookmarking both sides of the wormhole.

And get yourself a mapping tool. It will give you a website graphical way to map your progress through the chain.
There are a few different tools out there, each have pluses and minuses.

If you're in a combat ship and you have patience you may be able to get some kills off the local inhabitants.

Good luck!

How much of a risk is there to running into warp bubbles in WH's while exploring?

Is it foolish to daytrip with a semi-valuable pod? In low-sec you can almost always get the pod away but I'm wondering if it's easy to get trapped/caught in WH's and should jump into an empty clone first.

If you're spotted moving around wormholes, people might put a hic or dic between you and your exit but other than that, bubbles aren't terribly common outside of fights

I fly with way too much isk in my head and I live in w-space. Unlike null with its static gates that beg for anchorable bubbles, w-space and its daily change of connections its more of a PITA to bubble every hole (making life harder for yourself as well)

Dics and hics are your bigger threats but with good scouting and knowing your polarisation timers generally you can get your pod safe outside of a gank/fight

Thank you all for the welcome! I have enjoyed it so far but then there's been a few questions that I am researching here in this section for the answers I will get eventually. One nagging question is having a POS up in one, and the way WHs appear and dissapear every so often, would it be a waste of my time even thinking about even putting one up?

Again thanks for the welcome!Big smileBig smileBig smileBig smileBig smile
