Seems they arecalled "Limited Sleeper Cache"

Backstory in the dev posts on that link though that says now the are k-space only?

Correct.

So the sleepers themself did really awaken. Not only their drones that we fight in wormholespace. This is indeed a interesting turn of events. And seeing that wormholegenerator in action raise some interesting options. Maybe thats what we should try to be reverse engineering.

That could be interesting. Does this mean we can get some official Lore on the Sleepers??? Fozzie should page Falcon and totally confirm Sleeper Lore!!!

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

And then they will just be meanies and tell you to read templar one or even a new book in work (is there?).

But I cannot wait for the day when there are sleepers with their full rack of ewar and mwding frigs on a gate in k-space and teach those capsuleers a lesson.

It makes me a bit hopeful that wormhole space will not be completely left out of the storyline leading up to and involving stargate construction

My theory is that C1, C2, and maybe C3 wormholes will move into kspace but need player constructed stargates to get to. C4-6 stay locked away. The addition of new systems should ensure there's enough to cover existing kspace with nearby unconnected wspace systems.

Part of the reasoning behind this is the new sleeper sites in null and pirate sites in C1-3.

I think that wormhole space is the centre of the new direction, I am guessing that CCP looked into creating new wormhole systems for some reason and realised it was actually surprisingly quite easy. Probably because it was basically untouched, since.... Ever.

Now they have got the wind in their sails, they can really drive this forward and give wormhole space the greatest rush of invention we have ever seen. And maximise their development value, Thera opens our space, in a new way to all, who are adventurous, whilst still giving KS residents the sense of at least something familiar, but they will have to learn so much, and that leads to involvement and retention. This will also lead players out of their comfort zone, and psycologically ready for the challanges of New Space ™

So Not just a Win Win scenario,

But WIN! WIN! WIN,
No one loses EVERYONE gains.

Nothing surprising about it.

Really interesting idea.

I'm not sure how I feel aout it. Part of me loves the idea, but part of me wanted new space.

Such a few words, for what is now creating massive changes. One would never realise, from a few words tacked onto the patch notes, that such things were possible, I imagine a mass of development went into this "behind the scenes work"

Great to see it coming to life, Thanks All.

Nullbears will run the data and relic sites in nullsec, get the blue loot, and cry acidic tears of rage because they have nowhere to sell it in nullsec and they cant send it on their corp's daily milk run JF into k-space to be sold, because of jump fatigue.

Trolololol!

Fatigue has minimal impact on Jump Freighters. It isn't so little that people will likely go out and buy JF taxis to cross the verse and re-ship into combat vessels, but it isn't so much that you can't transport goods to and from highsec.

Sorry to burst your bubble.

In case people had not seen the Dev blog. More K-Space sleeper sites coming to Eve with Lore to go with why they are in K-Space.

Interesting that these sites also have the potential to Pod you, I like that aspect.

Sansha is using WH for their fleets for a long time.
You should check what you can find in Stain systems recently , or check what is slowly build near shattered planet you can find there.
Guess why you have sansha ships as a forum background.
