ok, I will be accepting requests for a position in the rookie ship brawl from the first 6 pilots from each race who EvEmail me with the subject line of "Rookie ship brawl" and the text in the body of the mail being your character's race
for example:
To: Santa Spirit
From: yournamehere
Subject: Rookie ship brawl

Caldari, Gallente, Minmatar, or Amarr

any other text you would like to add to the message.


The first 5 will be listed as the pilots for the battle, the other will be an alternate in the event that someone doesn't show up, or can't show up for the match on Dec 14th.

I will list the names in the OP as I receive the entry requests.
in the event that there are not enough folks who would like to participate in the battle, we will ask folks in local that evening.

I've been a part of past live events where New Eden Radio DJs were involved. You might hit them up for some DJ involvement if the idea has not already been addressed. They tend to have some top notch mixers IMO.

Maybe you can get with Turner Broadcasting, the owner of "Christmas Story" (The movie that started the meme "You'll shoot your eye out, kid" ) and have that show broadcast to all CQs in the region for 24 hours, just like what TBS was doing some years ago (US cable channel).

That'll drive people out of the CQ at least :-D
