T 3´s allowed again in 4/10 sites?

Hi there,

a fellow pilot told me that a tengu warped into his 4 out of 10 complex.
can anybody confirm that it is possible again to go into a 4/10 plex in a t3 again or did he just tell a story?

are they barred at the gate, or can they just combat probe your ship's sig into the ded site?

as far as i know the tengu was actually inside the complex with him.
Even if the pilot scanned down his ship he should be stuck at the gate.

Ive been running 4/10s in my loki for a while now, i thought it was 3/10 and below that were T3 barred?

4/10's are accessible to T3's.

You are confusing them with 3/10;s.

T3s have been banned from 4/10s since Odyssey. They can still enter Watches, Vigils, and one of the other smaller unrated sites.

This. If T3s can suddenly enter 4/10s again that would be kind of big news (and quite possibly a kind of big bug).

A couple of months ago I flew to a Gurista 4/10 site and a Tengu was sitting at the first gate. They flew off and I went in and ran the site. I figured he just could not enter.

I fondly remember burning through about 74 (18bil) GSO's in the 6 weeks prior to odyssey before that ban...I was planning to give it up in Odyssey but I thought I'd try doing one in a sleipnir, which I'm suprised burned through the site even faster than the tengu.

Also burned through the Gnosis that was running the site pretty fast too (that was when they implemented the stupid camera look, and I couldn't click on the damned can fast enough to loot it).

Agreed, I remember when T3 Cruisers were banned from 4/10 and lower rated DED sites.

That was quite a while ago.

I'm pretty sure my Gila burns through 4/10s faster than my Tengu or Loki did as well. Ishtar does them pretty quick too. T3 ban is pointless, let them back in CCP.

I guess they banned them because of their huge amount of EHP. Tengu don't have drone bay and medium are bad for elite frigs, gila is much better imo.

What is your gila fit? I can't decide what to fit: t2 rlml (for plexes lower than 4, with many frigs) or medium missiles with bad dmg application to low sig targets.

I use Gila w/ HAM Javelins plus two Hammerheads. The only targets that give me super grief are the "elite" frigates, but my drones can pop them quickly.

Edit: Another decent alternative is a Cerberus. I've found it's damage application and the super-range of HAMs to be great, plus the 3 drones help in a few situations. Fit right, it can easily tank 500+ ehp/sec.

Please fix wormhole combat sites: c1 20mil - c2 40 mil - c3 80 mil - c4 160 mil - c5 320 mil - c6 640 mil

It's not like anyone is going to lose their HAC to the rats in 4/10s and 3/10s. More EHP on the T3s doesn't really help you run the sites any better.

Buffer tank fit, and I use T2 RLML for their lower fitting requirements. I load them with just regular scourge because I'm cheap and I like the extra range.

Definitely need some sort of confirmation on this issue, either a statement from CCP or some screen shots showing the ship inside the DED 4/10 site.

Maybe there is some confusion. I believe the ban was only for hisec. Lowsec sites should be unaffected.

No is Low and High.

I was in a 4/10 in low and a few pirates came to get me. The Legion was stuck outside and raged in local about it.

I got a Blood 4/10 as escalation to low sec. I could get in with a Tengu. Might be just one site being misconfigured.
