what ship for 8/10

what ship would be suitable to solo an 8/10 in null? for example the serpentise prison camp looking to use something with missiles ( i like missiles :) )

If you like missiles the answer is obvious: Tengu, but i don't know if you could break the tank of the structure that drops the loot in a reasonable amount of time. Maybe with HAMs, or friends.

I prefer the Ishtar because i don't have to bring ammo and the DPS at long range is awesome. When i run 8/10s i have to warp my alt to the last pocket to help a bit because the tank of the prison camp is annoying if you are not in blue space. My alt is in a scanning T3, crap DPS but it helps.

Range in 8/10s isn't an issue because you will "land" 20-30 kms away from the rats in every pocket so i guess you could try the HAM tengu.

I too was concerned about breaking the tank of the structure in the last room, i had a few fits in eft but could
not put out enough dps to break the tank in a reasonable time. I would be in blue space i am also a solo account so have no alts to fall back on. Would you share your ishtar fit with me i may try a different non missile approach. Also last room is full of propulsion jamming rats

I have different fits depending on the site and type of rat, but i usually armor tank except when i'm running an Angel site.
I like armor tank because i can fit 2 omnidirectional tracking links and this provides excellent range or tracking.

My usual fit is drone link+remore reps in the highs, omnidirectional+propulsion+cap modules in the mids and in the lows specific hardener+drone damage+medium rep. The rigs are nano pumps, but as i said, i change the fit a lot because i run sites where i can, not where i want. It's all ok because i prefer to keep moving always.

I don't fit cloaks because i prefer to log off if i need to take a break and for that i have my alt.

Edit. Forgot to say that i have very good drone skils, HACS V, i've done 8/10s many times against all the rats... etc. I recommend you to bring a friend the first time if you plan to use a HAC because the last room can get a bit hairy. The 3 first pockets are really easy but the last has some webbing towers and some webbing/warp disrrupting frigates. It is not hard but just to test the waters.
