You missed an opportunity if you didn't request to see the outfits as she was trying them on.

Act like a complete ass so she never asks you to come ever again.

Boundaries should be drawn as soon as possible.

Men don't shop at malls.. ever.

Just go to the toy section and recapture your childhood.

When you both come out... you'll have smiles on your faces.

i include mine when he shops with me. which is not all that often, but still. i'll ask him his opinions on selections i make. i let him pick things out he would like to see me in. i'll try them on. sometimes he makes good selections. sometimes he makes tacky ones. i won't say they are tacky though lol. i'll say they are cute and then just simply not purchase it, claiming i like something else a little better. lol

the point is involvement. so he doesn't feel like a bump on a log. part of guys trouble with spending time shopping, i feel, is that they just try hard to NOT be present in the moment.

It's not really about being involved. We just purchase items differently I believe. *does not apply to all males of course*

Average male "shopping" is more like this ...

We already know what item we want before we leave the house and also know exactly which store stocks said item. The less people in our way the better, so malls are never an option or consideration.

Walk into store and move directly to the item we came for.

Walk directly towards the door only to stop at the register to pay for item.

Any more time spent in a store feels like wasted time better spent elsewhere. Yes we can smile on demand and pretend we are interested on occasion but make no mistake, we really don't care one way or the other. (not trying to sound or seem insulting)

***Unless your going to Victoria's Secret .. I'm all in on that trip and will give quite a bit of advice and preference and will be completely 100% engaged in your purchases. :)

If this becomes a common occurrence and she doesn't get the hint, you could always do this.

This post was rated "C" for capsuleer.

I actually like malls because they're pretty much the ultimate example of commercialism and excess. I've seen the opposite of such things (like Afghanistan) so when I go into a mall it makes me appreciate what we have. But only for about two hours. After that my introversion kicks in and I wanna beat feet.
