Bottom line clearly state this stuff and start posting well. There are plenty of ways for you to criticize code without sounding like a loony tinfoil encrusted highsec pubbie.

Avoiding a suicide gank is simple. Don't be an easy target.

Here's how:

1. Don't Autopilot. Ever.
2. Be at the keyboard at all times when in space.
3. Use scouts, or at least check the map for kills where you're going to be operating.
4. Avoid hot spots. If lots of ships are getting ganked, it may be wise to operate elsewhere.
5. If hauling, fit your hauler for fast travel instead of max capacity. Making multiple, smaller trips will save you ISK in lost ships.
6. If hauling, understand that just because you can fit obscenely valuable cargo into your T1 hauler doesn't mean that you should.
7. If mining, don't just sit at 0m/s. Always be moving.
8. If mining, watch your overview and D-scan for approaching combat ships.

Of course you do you only accept things that reinforce your world view as fact and all else no matter the support is false. You can safely be ignored with no loss of content or insight.

We are the authorities on posting it's not up for discussion.

No, in the previous thread, you spoke about this. I've maintained my points throughout, but if you need me to reiterate them, here we go:

- CODEs actions are beneficial to botters, while their stated goals are to rid the game of bot aspirant behaviour - This could be by design, or it could be through incompetence, only they would know. I am making no call on that either way.

- Completely unconnected to the above, permits are irrelevant, since the only way for a permit to be "valid" is to be tanked enough for them to not gank you even without a permit. This has been clearly stated by code members in the past.

Is that clear enough for you?

It goes neither way with me to be honest. I agree with my points which is good enough for me. I can't say I've read enough from Veers to pass judgement.

That's fair enough, you're entitled to your opinion, we're entitled to disagree with it.

Oh dear, trying to derail threads again? Perhaps you should reach deep down and make a conscious effort to stay on topic and away from the Grrr Veers insanity...give it a go, bro.

Uh huh. No conflict of interest on your end considering the Goons run Miniluv Roll. And since everything I say happens to be correct, of course anything contrary is false. Feel free to ignore me, I won't miss the Grrr Veers nonsense. And as for the Goons being an authority on anything other than recruitment scamming, ha!

Got any evidence to back that statement up? Oh wait you don't do evidence, you prefer conjecture and hyperbole.

Where did I drag it off topic? I replied to another poster saying he was entitled to his opinion.

There's no Grr Veers involved, pointing out that you're a self aggrandising shitposter with little or no idea about pretty much anything Eve related is a public service, and thankfully I'm not your bro.

Your repeated personal attacks on me are just a pathetic attempt to derail the thread. Try to stay on topic and avoid the personal garbage. I'm here to debate ideas and could care less about anything to do with you. We get it. You don't like me. I don't care. Now move on.

Then again, I'm also a member of the CFC, and I've flown with miniluv during an ice interdiction and Burn Jita, so surely I should have a similar conflict of interest?

Don't misunderstand me. There's very little wrong with ganking (perhaps it's a little too easy to pull off, but just a little) and it's certainly an activity that should be preserved as it's a very important part of EVE. CODE are just a single subset of gankers, and it's their statements and their actions that I find laughable, not the act of ganking itself.

Oh I agree, highsec would be awfully boring without suicide ganking...it's the only thing that forces people to cut back on luxurious fittings. I just don't like the bumping fiasco, the fact that the same people do nothing but gank all day without consequences, and the tear collection garbage. As for ganking itself, it's an important mechanic that should stay in the game.

Sadly you can't, you're a hypocrite, your standards only apply to other people, not yourself.

Debate? You don't debate, you ignore everything that doesn't fit in with your twisted agenda.

I don't like your ingame persona, or your apparent ego. You personally? Never met you but if you're anything like the way you present yourself here then you're right, I probably wouldn't like you.

Correct, they can destroy a bunch of cheap suicide gank ships AFTER they have achieved their objective, killed their target, and stolen the loot. These same folks come back 15 minutes later and do the exact same thing. That is not effective law enforcement. There should be longer GCC timers for hardened criminals.

Not enough for Veers, he wants crime in highsec to become untenable. He hasn't got the balls to do anything himself, unfortunately he wants CCP to do it for him.

I see a lot of Taloses on those freighter gank KMs that blow up just as fast as a Catalyst once CONCORD is on grid. Besides, what does the value of a ship have to do with anything?

I guess this hasn't sunk in for you yet, but CONCORD's job is punishment, not protection.

and the purpose of the 15 min GCC timer is what exactly?
