Launcher crashes every time it is opened

I have done a lot of research and tried a lot of things, but I can't even get the launcher to fully open. I'm opening the client through Steam and before it will fully load it just stops running and I have to force quit out of it. I'm running on Mac OS 10.9.4 and I have all the latest patches to EVE. I was able to play fine yesterday, but the problem started after midnight last night and has persisted. Any suggestions?

Well yesterday I upgraded my OS to Yosemite and it actually started working and I could play for a good amount of time last night without issue, but then the game went down for its scheduled maintenance and lo and behold, the issue returns. Really CCP?

Same issue here on a 2013 13" Macbook Pro Retina with latest Yosemite installed.

The launcher starts and immediately freezes, the game is unplayable for me.

Hey Guys look at you security setting, you might have to modify the setting to let third part application to run.
Go to System Preferences -> Security and Privacy -> Click the lock int eh lower left to make changes and you might have to pick to let anything run, but I found that if I kept that open I was able to get a prompt to let eve run when I launched it after going back to the middle setting.
