Is "safari fear" and 'safari avoidance" really why players choose to stay in npc corps??

Why do you think they do?

Ccp says player way more likely to quit if only in npc corp so they are tryong to find ways to get players to leave them. (Meating csm9mins)

So is it really corp_on_corp shooting that is what makes recruitment hard and people afraid of corps? Cuz theft is okay and not an issuee i guess?? Only violence.

I THINK THE REASON IS WARDECS snd should get rid of them for player retention/leaving npc encouragement.

You thoughts?

High sec wars actually do have one purpose: POS removal and POCO removal. To a smaller extent, pushing a corp out of my area.

But I know of no good game mechanic change that would limit wars to just those cases.

As for your point, I see players who have no interest in wars dropping to NPC corps in case of war, but not joining in the first place? Nope, I don't think that is a big reason.

One thing CCP has not shown: Is the correlation between player retention and joining a player corp cause and effect? That is, do players quit because they did not join a player corp? Or, is it that the same sort of player who does not want to join a player corp also the type who just is not interested in games like eve?
