CODE are responsible for some miniscule fraction of freighter ganks EVE wide.

Or are you saying that CODE now actively protect permit holders from other gankers ?

Assuming this is a serious question and not sarcasm: By bumping you on the ingate. If your scout alt isn't webbing you, it's child's play to ram and repeatedly bump you until the gank-catalysts can get logged in, and come in. Even if you log off, they have 2? minutes to shoot you with a neutral suicide rookie ship and keep you logged in for another 15 minutes.

You want to be (almost) completely safe, warp to 0, Web alt, instant undocks. Tanking the ship is rather pointless. It's the difference between 15 gankers, and 20 or 25. Webbing stops the gank altogether.

Just a thought, when CCP dumb the game down even more by removing intra-corp aggression, this will indirectly end the webbing thing too. Or WAS it indirect. Conspiracy!

Nah, long as the ability to duel remains ingame, it might slow it down a bit but it won't stop it.

Bolded for emphasis. At the expense of the relatively few awoxers, nerfing intra-corp aggression will be to the advantage of the relatively more numerous freighter gankers. For the freighter/webber team, a few more seconds to initiate and accept a duel will be the delay that, in more cases, will be a contributing factor to the freighter's destruction.

Thank you, CCP, if you go forward with making people "safer" from corpmate aggression. "Safer" means delay in action as another "safety" button or "ok" dialog button needs to be pushed, and putting more potential delay in a target's execution of escape ALWAYS will benefit the aggressor.

Meh....personally I don't like the idea of webs being used to make warping easier - it seems gamey and wrong, and I for one am happy to see it go. The solution to the current freighter ganking debacle is to nerf the bumping (allow free warp off after a gank attempt) not to encourage people to use unintuitive webbing mechanics.

Wow, what do you know another High sec gank topic. Your SOL, In my topic It was clear people get to go running around stabbing people in high sec all they want with no consequences. If you loose your @#$t, then you buy a plex CCP is happy. If you drop high value things you spent hours on in to get to gankers then eve players when. No one cares, your loss everyone's gain.
