Oddly, after the server was restored from the DDOS, alot of the TiDi was reduced to outright gone in combat.

What I believe happened was the node got remapped. Kicking everyone that was on that node. I was in the next system over (Pelille) when the tidi kicked in.

EvE-offline.net showed about half the players got disconnected.

I would not be surprised, considering the sperglord "I must win" mentality, that some groups are scouring forums to find out who (FCs in particular) live in what area and then find out what nodes to DDOS.

So far every time I could not log in or would get logged, I have found it's one particular node that tracert indicates is the problem. I'm not saying someone is going through that much trouble to beat me (I suck at this game so much that it's not necessary to go to such lengths to beat me) I'm saying that it could happen and I recall a forum post from way back when someone implied that such a thing happened.

By node I'm referring to the actual internet node between you and the Eve server, not in the Eve cluster.

Not only should players engaging in that activity be permabanned, they should also face criminal charges for that action.

Bring back DEEEEP Space!
