Greetings,

Conditions - Thanatos lives in low-end wspace system. Wishes to contribute against intruders.

Questions -

Which drone or fighter is best against T3?

Would it be better to assign a wad of fighters in groups(5/4/4) to others while nosing out of the POS bubble... or taking the Thanny to grid and launching fighters/drones myself in a more robust fit?

A POS-noser fit is easy, since almost half the ship is in the bubble and just have to go straight up to be safe.

Not even considering solo pvp. This is just an attempt to assist corp- and alliance-mates with an over-priced and over-powered tool for its environment. It was built there and cannot leave, so trying to find useful employment.

Thanks for your attention.

EDIT - I know it was dumb to build it there. :) But jumping into a wspace system to see a Hictor and a couple BCs with fighters in attendance looks impressive as all get-out. Like a lock on a door, it keeps honest men honest.

Morning,

Firstly, not dumb to build a carrier in wormhole space. You can always assist fighters to help people farm and rep posses with ease. Depending on your numbers is depending on what you want to use. If you have a fair bit of webs/TP you want to be dropping fighters. Make sure you fit drop track/speed mods to help with what not.

The choice to put it on field is completely up to you. If you have the isk i would highly recommend doing it (you still get abit of insurance money back if it dies). Carrier pvp can also be fun.
