Cloaking effects always have been a visual gimmick only. Don't believe those who don't know better.

Irrelevant eye candy. Cloaking is a hard toggle in terms of mechanics. See how the icon of your cloak flashes green as long as it is activated? It will be green during the whole animation. Look at your module, the transition effect is purely visual.
