There you go again. Eve is a game my friend. Those are not real dollars. Isk is not real money. If someone were to scam an Eve player for real money, I would certainly be against that and advocate their banning. But that is not what is happening. You however keep confusing Eve with reality, and isk with real money. They are not the same thing and should not be.


Values and morality don't get checked at the door of the game. In game actions have real emotional impacts on the human players. Doing really bad things and justifying it as "just a game" doesn't pass my smell test.

In game actions do have emotional impact. Thats part of what makes eve a great game. If someone blows up my ship unprovoked or scams me, I get angry, and I have a reason to plan revenge. If someone helps me in a fight and saves my ship, I'm actually thankful.

That said, it IS just a game. Eve is a microcasm of society, and actions taken against you don't have real world consequences. That, as far as I'm concerned, is the entire reason to play this game. If you truly feel that we are evil because of our in game actions, this probably isn't the game for you.

In short, we want in game enemies so we play the villain. Claiming that this has any real world reflection on us is uncalled for and hurtful.
