Eve on a MacBook Pro

I have a ASUS G75 with NVIDA GTX 670, Windows 7 and it runs Eve with no issues... I would like a smaller laptop for traveling and I'm really interested in the MacBook. I had an old 13" MacBook Pro with a 2.4 C2D processor and NVIDIA graphics (I don't remember the number) and it ran Eve without too many problems... I remember it giving me issues so I eventually ran it in Parallels. That worked fine till some update then stopped working. It was about the time I was getting a new computer so I didn't bother trying to fix it.

Now once again I'm looking at the MacBook because despite some minor issues I loved it. From looking at the Apple store it looks like they've downgraded the 13 inch MacBook Pro to Intel graphics. So this leaves the 15 inch models. I'm guessing the GT 750M should run Eve on medium settings? I always lower my graphical for fleets but I sometimes like to see a little fancy when I'm not in a fleet.

Sorry if my post is rambling but I'm just looking for some advice/ opinions before I drop 2500 USD on one. Thanks!

I run EvE on a 15'' MBP (early 2011) when not at home. It is an almost flawless experience, though I tend not to stress the machine (avoiding large fleets for instance).

I don't how good or bad is the GT750M, but I guess the performance will be related to the type of processor & clock speed (I have little comprehension of those subjects).

Just to give you some clues: my AMD Raedon 6750M runs the game smoothly (between 25 & 45 fps) in most situations.
Anoms & deadspace pockets full of rats occasionnally drops the fps to 10.
Some glitches or stutters are to be expected. Annoying but that doesn't make the game unplayable & hardly lasts more than a minute.
I set graphics to medium/high & never quit full screen mode.

I daresay a more recent batch of this model should do the job better. Still to be confirmed.
