Surprise me.

That's not how this works.

You said "the kind of answer I am looking for".

So what are you looking for? You want sympathy, or what? I don't know, so since you said you're looking for something, why not tell us?

The OP should mail C Kane to sort everything out. Or maybe reach out to Jerry Rin for advice on what he can do to help.

This discussion has turned into the exact acidic slime that we've had dripped down our necks the past week. Nothing in your responses of "PVP advice" taught me anything that I already know of. Our losses are minimal compared to that of other wars. We know how to survive, we know how to keep miners alive. You all have turned it around to accuse us as "stupid carebears that cry because we were targeted". My point has been only to warn other like-minded corporations about this character and his recent actions against us. His actions have forced us to report it to this section of the forums, something it was designed for in the first place. I did not add this to General Discussions, I did not add this to anywhere else.

Bassics' ability to go to great lengths to destroy corporations is a threat to others. That needed to be detailed, and my only concern are other corporations that may come across this

Everyone needs to look out for a player named Bassics of Royal Enterprise. He is a known war-deccer, ganking miners and industrial ships alike, as well as attempts to spread rumors and strife among the corps he declared war on. Not only does he refuse to fight, he expects corps to roll over and die as he spews vitriol remarks on local, and messages individual corpmates, attacking our new players, our CEO, and bribing them to pass up information.

In our situation, he used an alt named Najaaraq to infiltrate our corp. Initially we saw nothing alarming, but Bassics showed up nearby and Najaaraq began oddly specific Intel reports concerning him. After a quick day of fighting, Najaaraq resorted to pointing fingers at our new players, saying they are alts of Bassics.

Bassics continued to point fingers, sending convo invites to everyone and attacking everyone, bribing some to hand over information, one concerning the fit of my ship.

To this point, we remain vigilant. Bassics continues to bribe my corpmates, but it's slowed down now.

He's done this before, I'm sure of it. Keep an eye out for this griefer.

I don't see why this particular individual should concern me any more then the dozen's of other 1 man high sec war deccers out there.

Also an Alliance with an exec. corp called 'My Fist Your Face' and 72 members should be able to ***** slap this one guy all over the universe surely? Then I looked at the killboards, wow! You guys have lost some nice stuff to this guy, T2 fitted Faction Battleships and T2 Assault Cruisers. Certainly shows he doesn't just shoot 'newbros'.

But I really don't see who you were trying to warn.

Nobody will be interested in fighting a 1 man corp unless they are paid hansomely and any 'care bear' corps can do nothing to avoid him if he decides to wardec them.

What did you hope to achieve by pointing out to the eve community you are so poor as an alliance you are being smashed by a 1 man corp?

Because I am a sporting fellow, I will let you guys know ahead of time.

Any recruitment requests you get in the next few days, are probably me. And if you let me in, we are gonna have some fun this weekend. CCP hasn't put the kick queue in yet, after all.

Allow me to put the situation in detail.

This player is a highsec griefer. He wardecs corps that recruit new players beginning in EVE.

He is a one-man corp, but is full of alts outside of it. He stays online all day but docked, so we can't know when he will attack.

If we show interest in fighting, he just stays docked and talks **** about "unfair fight" (as if it wasn't what he does). We cannot fight anyone else, because he is alone, we only have one possible target that stays docked most of the day.

If we are done giving him attention and go back to our own business, he undocks when noone is looking and go gank some corp member that is isolated from the older members of the corp, usually mining alone and mostly only the players that are really new to the game and have neither SP or experience to deal with the situation. In short, he is a coward.

His years of accumulated SP allowed him to fly a ship fit for extreme survivability, we calculated he has over 1200 HP/s of armor repair while overloading, and I'm not even considering the adaptive armor. Even with our combined DPS we could not destroy him. If he senses he is going to die, he just stops attacking, tries to survive enough to dock again. Yeah, he nevers go far from the dock when we are together.

He stays online with at least two known characters, one is Bassics, always docked with a Locator Agent looking for possible targets, and Rompetrol / Najaaraq that he uses as scout to go see ahead if its not a trap. He doesn't take any chances, he only attacks when he knows he will win.

Basically we are dealing with a bully and a griefer that picks on new players and lives off ruining everybody's joy of the game.

The most impressive part is the amount of time, money and effort he dedicates to this. Its beyond a normal person's comprehension. He is clearly some sick stalker or a psychopath.

tldr; He is fighting smart, while your corp leadership is failing to teach your new guys how to avoid getting zapped and how to stay alive during a time of war.

Bad corp is bad, and should disband immediately.

You shouldn't have come to this place for advice as it flags you as a victim. I "liked" your post cause my social skills are also low this way ("if you cannot help - go away from my thread instead of showing what kind of a weak ****** you are, moron").

If you've maybe stated your problems otherwise the very same people would at least attempt to give some info while patronizing instead of attacking. Still - they will come here to patronize because it is what they do best.

As it stands now you can learn from the dude since he is doing at least some of it right. Maybe he's a griefer but giving him forum attention (fame?!) will not help you.

My advice? Check when his active, bait him into following you and gate camp his silly butt. Either than that - mine in procurers, do missions in pvp ships till you get him at least once. It might be a pain in the ass but imagine the relief when he shuts up.

my advice would be simply to move space. go relocate 40 jumps away and see if he follows, or go carve out a nice quiet lowsec space, most hisec wardecers dont even bother with low. if he follows and continues then join a different alliance that can really support you. the whole idea of this game is to adapt to what is thrown at you. sink or swim, that is what you should be teaching your new bros. and this is written kindly because im a happy drunk so dont you dare state that this is trolling and not valid advice. peace out

I guess I am, and I'm glad you noticed that one of the reasons is people like you.

The forums is a medium meant to people seek help and guidance, but instead people come here to be toxic and disrespectful.

What will be your excuse when you finally give some GM reason to drop the ban hammer? That you were roleplaying? That you were just doing what many others do too?

You better watch yourself.

You want guidance? I already gave you guidance, but lets go again

Here's some more tips. Lets make a list Shall We?

1. Don't make a corp that's entirely filled with new-bro's,

1A. If you happen to take on new-bro's make sure you are readily and capable of teach them how pvp.

1B Don't start a corp when you are young and don't understand the game, it'll only cause distater when the corps founder doesnt know what he's doing.

2. Wanna know how my corp deals with bigger entities? Log off traps with a gank fleet waiting to happen. I've dropped many other merc corps because they got comfortable and made them pay for it. I've seen a corp smash 2 Vindicaters just because they could field 40 ravens. You're in an alliance, how about you go do that?

3. Learn that losing a ship is a part of the game and don't cry when you do.

4. Know WT alt watching? Jump in a cattie and suicide gank the silly thing, if you're lucky he might he have a sister's faction probe scanner on it,

5. Don't threaten a MERC when you are getting your ass handed to you by one guy, your not going to fare well when there are 20 people all wanting to merc on you. Also you do know ALL the Merc's watch this part of the forum right? Everyone from Marmite, IKR, POH, and BAW probably have seen your post as this point. You definitely do not want them deccing you, BAW and POH being the most likely to hunt you down and murder you. If you think this one guy is impossible wait until break-a-wish comes barring down.

5A. By posting here, you very well may have just doomed your corp/alice to permadec by Merc corps.

6. YOU ARE PART OF AN ALLIANCE, if you can't defend yourself from a single dude, then you need to find a better corp/alice, I've seen a fleet of thrasher tear merc corps apart, like I said before, I've seen Wartarget Ravens undocking from Amarr like suddenly Raven magically because fluid,

7. Hire people! Make connections, Forsaken, Failed, POH, are ALWAYS looking for contracts.
7A. If you hire Forsaken move to where they camp and set up shop there. No Single Wartarget is going to try and mess with you if have 10 Forsaken guys sitting on gates with a legion of proteus'.

There you go, advice. If you can't do this, then you need to drop corp, find a corp that CAN protect itself and go on from there.

If you can't take advice, harsh or not, you don't deserve to be playing this game. EVE actively pushes the weak away and rewards those who are smart and take risks.

What are these 'newbros' you speak and and how can I be as elitist as you?

What if they don't have a second account to dual box this special intel alt so they can all dock up if he sees the guy undock?

You really trying to suggest that a 120 man Alliance does not have any multiple accounts in their ranks? How about Dalix Khan and Dhalixa Khan, almost certainly the same player with 2 alts for example.

Also this Corp advertise themselves as -

Rubicon Spears is a PVP/PVE Corporation forming with the goal of moving out to low sec/null sec and carving out space for ourselves. We are looking for mature players willing to take a leap into pvp while maintaining a strong industrial base.

Some PvP corp if a one man wardec can send members to the forums complaining about being shot at! I hope for the sake of the alliance it's just two special snowflakes complaining on the forums and this negative attitude isn't indicative of the Alliance as a whole otherwise they may as well disband now TBH.

If you give him attention and show interest in fighting him you will get nowhere, don't play station games.

Looks like he flies a Myrmidon, probably triple repped and dual cap boosted. You could take a small party of three away from the majority of your members, have one run a tanked T2 mining bait ship with a point/web, one in a cap stable rep ship and one in a dps ship, something like a neut vexor, navy would be nice.

Don't try and log off trap him, have your logi and dps sitting in station 'afk'. Check his kill times and you should be able to work out roughly when he is likely to be active, despite him never logging off.

If he takes the bait then you will wear him down, he can't run those cap boosters forever.

Either way, next one of your members that rattles on about psychopaths, stalkers or complains rather than asking for suggestions and you will all have more than Bassics to worry about.

I'm suggesting that they are separate people and most like playing the game in an immersive manner rather than dual boxing.
