I'm playing Eve Online on Arch Linux 64 bit, with the latest wine. Eve stutters a bit, especially after launching it. It's like it stutters when its loading new things into the memory, because afterwards eve works smoothly. But I have a weird graphical issue:

War targets and negative standings show up as a red square to the right of a ship's icon, and alliance members show up with a green square. Instead of the normal looks as in windows. Anybody know how to fix this? I tried a reinstall.

I would clear your cache, it looks corrupt. The ability to clear the cache is under settings. Also, you might have 'small icons' selected on your overview settings.

Honestly, I would just remove your entire settings/cache directory. This will remove it:
Quote:
ls -l ~/.wine/drive_c/users/${USER}/Local\ Settings/Application\ Data/CCP/EVE
# once it is confirmed there with history.txt and c_games_ccp_eve_tranquility
rm -rf ~/.wine/drive_c/users/${USER}/Local\ Settings/Application\ Data/CCP/EVE

Are you doing disk encryption? Do you have a non-encrypted partition? I recommend you put the cache (and all of eve) in a non encrypted location. Maybe move it all to it's own partition off / somewhere so it's not covered by your home directory encryption. I found this particularly painful to eve.

Can you give me the output of the following commands:
lspci -v | grep -i vga
nvidia-setttings # version, if using nvidia
wine --version

I don't know what you consider "normal looks as in widows".
What you describe ARE normal looks. Provided you have "use small colortags" chcked in overview settings (tab appearence).
Same with green alliance members. They are most likely your corpmates, and you have a green tag for corpmates above your blue tag for allies in your colortags.
