Lvl 3 Distribution ship?

This is a question and an assumption:

I haven't done many distribution mission (mostly the tutorials), but I'm looking to start building up standing towards the lvl 4 epic arcs, and at least for the Caldari, building rep for the arc agent looks easiest to do through the distribution company that the agent belongs to.

Now, being a little new, I've focused (so far) on Gallente ships / tech and on security missions. Not opposed to going another route, but looking right now for short term. I've been doing lvl 3 missions just fine in my Myrmidon for the past month or two and am building up a Dominix for lvl 4's. I'm able to fit T2 on most of my modules, but still have rails as my main weapon (after T2 drones). Sitting at a bit over 7M SP.

So ... I don't know what I'll need for distribution missions. These would be mostly level 3, I'm guessing, as by the time I have the standing for lvl 4, I'd be able to do the epic arcs instead. What kind of ship is used for most distribution missions? A fast frigate / blockade runner? An Industrial for cargo capacity? A BC or BS?

Just have no idea the general thing I'm trying to outfit, how much cargo I'll (generally) need to haul, distances, or if I'll want to focus on increasing warp speed, etc, etc.

Thanks for any help!

So an industrial for sure, then?

And what kind of fitting would I be pursuing? Simply the most cargo space? Rigs for speed? Shield tanking / cloaking / defensiveness?

I don't know, but I imagine the missions themselves aren't going to offer much resistance, but how much concern is there for player ganking a ship like that? AKA: Should I build the ship to guard against player kills, or for cargo / speed?

Thanks!

You really don't need anything fancy for L3 couriers in high-sec. Just take whatever Industrial you've trained and put nanofiber internal structures in the low slots to increase speed and agility. My research alts use a nano Sigil; it has the highest base speed of any T1 indy and has five low slots.

Got it.

Thanks for the advice!
