For me, if I'm getting into combat or pvp it has to be Amon Amarth - Death in Fire

If I'm killing brain cells and mining, Skrillex & Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley - Make It Bun Dem

I usually play this to get into my EVE mood ... And when I´m sportin´ my sekrit pimp T3 I put this.

When I mine in Hi Sec in 1.0 without permit I put this because I´m hardcore

For me EVE is all about fun rhythms Big smile specially when all I do is haul stuff over, so I feel like a Space trucker.

Hahahaha, that EL SERRUCHO video is hilarious. I had no idea accordions were so gangster. Good songs though, I honestly wouldn't have discovered them on my own.

Props for Amon Amarth.

For PvP I lean towards something with a fast tempo such as this, or a classic like this.

Jackhammer subtlety. Bitches love cannons. This Is My Jam.

Yay!!! Glad you enjoyed, that´s Colombian "Champeta" for you, it´s huge in Cartagena Big smile

Cheers!

Accordion is huge here in South and Central America, if you like such tunes you might like this from Panama, which is called "Tipico"

But I also enjoy your music selection, I just love music in most forms, but always digging for the chance for people to know more about Caribbean/Latinamerican music styles Big smile and I kinda dig "happy" music from these parts.

I'm definitely digging Skeletonwitch, another one I haven't heard of before but will definitely be listening to a lot here in the future. I love the speed thrash sound along with the guttural vocals. I haven't heard a lot of that style before. Most of it that I've heard has more traditional vocals like Dragonforce or Black Majesty.

A lot of the metal I listen to is Scandinavian. Have you ever heard of Ensiferum or Tyr?

@Brujo Loco
I feel like I should be drinking tequila on a beach somewhere with that music. Admittedly I haven't listened to a lot of latin american music but it's good to listen to a new genre. Thanks for showing it to me.

I'll always listen to either some sort of ambient space noises or whale sounds if I'm doing something more relaxed-

But if I'm in some action, something like this seriously helps! It's ridiculous but exciting at the same time- I love linkin park P

This is my favorite for EVE maybe because I suck in PvP in general so I tend to end up on "the wings of no return" more often then I would like or maybe it's because I usually fly e-war or logis. :P

Well, every day when I sit down to log on to Eve, I have 2 playlists I play, in no particular order:

Motley Crue:
Wild Side
Looks That Kill
Dr. Feelgood
Kickstart My Heart

Megadeth:
Basically the whole "So Far So Good... So What?" album, plus
Kill the King

Lately Ive been back into Samhain, too, So I'll queue up my favorite songs from all 4 albums (well 3, the live one SUX)

I think heavy metal/rock & electro are standard affairs that fit with eve.

but these days I've been listening to Reggae roots a lot while space trucking and found it gives a whole new atmosphere to my space travels, almost like playing a different game lol.

Here is an example.

I also found that dub is good too

Try it your eve will feel pretty different. ;)

Granted I don't just listen to these when doing things, they are just what I listened to last night.

I'm glad you're digging Skeletonwitch. I have no idea what their actual sub-genre is, but they have been referred to as Blackened Deathly Thrash Metal.

I do enjoy Scandinavian metal, but have not heard of Ensiferum or Tyr. Which track(s) of theirs would you recommend to a new listener?
