The golden days of w-space forum trolling have long passed.... for the time being anyhow.


Maybe one day w-forums will be like it was? Posting into people's threads everyday having fun brawls, now all that happens is you tend to post into the same people over and over again, who are part of ever larger corporations/alliances of 200 plus. I remember when I could roll and I would see alot of activity, maybe it did not always result in pvp but It is has slowly gotten much more silent in w-forums!

It seems the people in w-forums are gravitating towards each other and forming larger and larger entities to cope with the new dynamics, which in turn causes others to do the same because they cannot compete with such moderation without doing so.

I also know that there are many smaller content poster in wh space c5 and up who know deep down that if they were to get responded to and flagged there is no way they can compete/defend with these 80man alt posting gangs but they stay because they would rather go down fighting and loose everything than leave for k space forums there and then. However not everyone can do this and many smaller entities have left and are still leaving. Where is the dustettes and proc sexual innuendo posting?!

It does not seem to be getting any better to me and as I said I have noticed threads getting longer without any new shitposters to add to the fire

PS: This is not a whine thread, its just what I think and I am curious to see what some of you may think. I know not all of w-forums here to comment so I wont get a everyone opinion but all the same!

The golden age of the wild west frontier style wormhole forum is long gone... that isn't to say w-forum is dead, though indiscriminate spam of hyperion whine threads and shitposting by k-space daytrippers certainly seems to be doing more negative than positive things for w-forum activity - the diehards are as active as ever but a lot of fringe players have gone and not replaced in any significant numbers.

Does anyone actually make any interesting use of the sticky threads? from my perspective they seem little more than a slightly annoying pain in the side and not seen any actual use of them so far. They seem to me to be something that would be better off developed as its own area of the forums with some links to w-forum and the rest of k-forums.

Forum may be a little dead because CCP is driving inhabitants out of WH's with their great content releases.

My personal opinion is that the top shipposters have either gone AFG, or moved out of w-space. I still try to do my part, as do a few of my corpmates, but then we just get tears that "we don't actually live in w-space anymore". Seems most everyone else is too busy whinging about how hard w-space is instead of trash talking each other like they should be.

This place needs more callout topics. Give me a bit, and I will figure out who I should call out, and start one.

B U died, RLLO died around the same time. Iso5 only serious posts, and Dusette went afg.

Everyone got sprsrs about the changes, and people left because of it.

RLLO posts again but it's not the same.

I don't post as much because it's not fun when everyone is so serious.
