I currently have -4 for Gallente and I want to switch to it so I can do FW. Is there a way to do this?

Someone told me to join a corporation.. I'm thinking player corporation? that is part of the Gallante FW and then I can do plexs in FW capturing amaar plexs. Is this true? If so can I dock and gain LP as well on gallante stations/minmi?

Thanks guys!

In order to join faction warfare as a solo player you need at least 0 standings with the faction before any social skill modifiers. If you join a player corp that's already in faction warfare I believe you can participate in it that way (Based on what I've read about the mechanic, so I might be wrong). After joining you'll raise your standings pretty quickly by capturing complexes or completing missions. There's an article about fw standings on the E-Uni wiki here.

Yup that's what I want to make sure. If joining player corp that is in a FW where I have negative with.. could i do rep them and get LP from them?

You can join a FW player corp and get in that way, however keep in mind that your faction standings will be averaged with everyone in the corp and if the corp's standings drops below 0.0 the corp will get booted. Also, you won't be able to run missions higher than level 1 until you raise your faction standings above -2.0. You should still be able to run complexes, however.

Thank you.

I intend on doing purely plex's for the pvp action. So doing strictly just plex's i can raise that faction reputation from -4 to 0 in no time?

Yeah, capturing complexes gives you standings in the npc FW corp. Every 1.0 in standings towards the npc corp gives you a promotion and a decently sized one-time boost to your faction standings.

First of all, no player run GalMil corp in their right mind you let you get in with a Gallente standing of -4. What I suggest you do is join the Gallente militia NPC corp. When in that corp, you can run plexxes to get your standings up.
