How 2 transfer a charicter

hi i have just opend a power of 2 account after upgrading my trial acount so i have 2 active accounts i have 2 slots active the second slot activated with plex.. i now want to transfer my second slot charicter to my new 6 month account.. my second charicter is not in a corp just a standard toon... when i click on the protrait and select charicter in the tansfer section of services type in the account i want the charicter transferd 2 it just says selct charicter even though i have..so i put a ticket in this was a week ago .. No Reply...

so any help would be appreciated...

First: 1 week for a petition is NOT long, specially not in non-game breaking things.


Second: How old is that 2nd character you are trying to sent. Any character below 14 days can NOT be sent from an account. - As said in the FAQ, which I hope you did read?

I'm not exactly sure of my interpretation here, but you have to select the character to be transferred on the account you're transferring from, not on the account you want it transferred to.

Hi ..
and firstly thank you for the replies... yes both toons are 6 & 4 weeks old obviously read the faq before bothering those willing to help others such as yourselves.. i have just dropped onto a large kernite spawn so being the only one hear i will suck it dry before i try again.. i though the box you enter txt in was account you want it to go 2.. it already knows the account you are on as it offers the 2 characters for transfer .. i want to keep grace put but move my mining alt if i have no fun later i will post and let you know..

So just to be clear as it's a little difficult to follow.

You go to secure.eveonline.com go to Services > Transfer Characters, Select your Character via the portrait that you want to move, you then enter the account you are transferring to and hit next and then what happens? Any error message? What should happen is the payment screen appears for using a credit card or PLEXs to do the transfer.

It seems like you are doing it correctly but just leave out what happens when you hit next to start the transfer.

He just wants to consolidate his characters to 1 account so depends on the reasons you wish to transfer. So in this case for him it is worth it.

I agree, neither a 4 week or a 6 week old character is worth the 2 PLEX it will cost to transfer the character over.

Simply said:

6 weeks of training is LESS then 2 months which equals 2 PLEX. So it would be "cheaper" to retrain a 6 week character from the start on a new account compared to transfering it over.

Let alone for the 4 week one.

Maybe not in general, but for a new player that's a lot of skill points to re-train. If I'd been in the same situation I'm sure I would haved payed the PLEX rather than retrain 4 weeks of skills. (Also IIRC the fee is only $20 USD if you pay with RL ISK instead of PLEX.)

In fact, I'm pretty sure I did do that. I keep getting attached to my alts and buying them their own accounts. It's so hard to stop training once you've named them. Big smile

TLDR: Sometimes "I WANT IT NOW" wins out over efficiency.
