Someone already cleared the Amarr market, a good chunk at >500% markup.
I´d love to have a peek at corbexx´s list which sites drop the most of these.

Really is this how they intend to arbitrarily raise the value of low class WH sites?

I really am at a loss here as to why CCP have lost all long term thinking.

i'm trying to not be too bitter about it, more peeps to shoot is always a plus even if it is only for 2 weeks.

While it only lasts until the 14th you can bet your ass that the new tech that this sideshow will unlock is our PVE increase we have asked for by yet again arbitrarily creating a demand for some currently unused item. (my bet it will use some of the other wasted salvage items or more MNR's)

I gave up trying to not be bitter years ago. EDIT: If you want to go full tinfoil hat like i often do... You should look at the massive spike in the purchase/sales of crap salvage items and wonder when this was discussed with all the CSM's...................

****, wish I felt the same way, having watched CCP destroy mission income and attempt to fix that with burners, then watch them destroy WH rolling without talking to Corbexx or anyone who uses caps to roll, and then they go and make Null infinitely more difficult for new people and logistics, I'm starting to wonder if EVE is worth it anymore, at least to me.

Maybe there will be bpc's for new t3 ships? And they will do like starcitizen and release it bit by bit?
first hunting round people compete to get amarr, caldari, gallente, minmatar engineering new ship part?
Then 2nd round is gonna be electronics, ect.. Big smile
after 5th round voila you will end up with parts to construct full ship? Then take new shiny into wh and get blown up Big smile

Maybe they will introduce Capital Riggs reducing mass below 300.000.000kg. Those guys from K-Space will need them after phoebe...

Well, since they specifically stated that each empire will get its own new tech it has got to be either new ships, subsystems or drones.
New subsystems would only make sense together with a T3 rebalance.
Could be new drones, but with drones already being the FoTM I doubt they would want to add even more powerful drones.
After adding those strange frig holes the most likely answer would be T3 frigs.

Speculation is fun.

At least CCP is trying to make the blue poo useful for something other than dumping to NPC vendors.

Too bad it's only for a limited time. Arbitrary? Yes. Unless the new tech comes in the form of BPC's that take our arbitrarily useless blue loot and makes it more valuable than what the NPC's are willing to pay for it.

I'm guessing it'll be a bunch of McGuffins that will make travelling through the player-built stargates possible.

i have serious doubts making an OP T3 frig will redeem the amount of stupid that went into frig holes. i have yet to get a single encounter through one of them, so far i've only run into things that would just own me in a frig. GG

but to be fair questionable dev decisions seem to be popular at the moment, so wouldn't surprise me either.

Nice way to attempt to drum up activity in W-space because of the (most likely) abysmal numbers following Hyperion that even they can't cover up without blatantly lying about. Shame it rewards market prowess by the already-wealthy more than actually encouraging new people into W-space. They still don't get it.

Gotta have those T3 frigs for the frigate only holes.

Also a reasonable chance blue loot becomes a production item instead of isk tokens and this is the lore for it.
