Hey Friends,

Just resubbed.

I live solo in a C5 / C3 Black Hole.

Can I get some quick updates on what's new for me now...

1) Does the nerf to webs mean my loki's webs won't be as effective when applied to NPCs?

2) How's everyone coping with closing down unwanted holes with the mass spawn changes? Webbing to a SS then warping back? Using 3 orcas instead? Not bothering closing anymore? Killing yourself?

1) Get a phoenix

2) Get a daredevil. It can burn a safe by the time the dread lands.

I agree with hidden.

Living in a C5 BH by TF

1) Buy 6 Phoenixes
2) Drop into a site
3) ??
4) Make billions, then move out.

Thanks for the replies.

So the Phoenix is boss in BHs now because of the missile bonus?

I was originally using the Moros / Archon / Loki combo to OK effect.

How have things changed now with the Phoenix? Faster sites times etc? Do you still need a webber?

The usual rolling mechanics still apply (just take a little longer and your heavy ships (BS and up) will be further from the hole. Not the end of the world.
Frigate only holes are basically unclosable (not impossible but who wants to expend that level of effort?)
C4s now have dual statics.
C6s actually get legit k-space connections now.

That's about it.

You also need at least 2 or 3 blinged out Loki's, definitely lots of bling on the Phoenixes (Sleepers hit hard ya know). If the Loki's are under a billion each, you definitely didn't bling them enough.

And X-Types for the Phoenix's (for your own protection).

Don't worry about closing the static, nobody likes fighting in blackholes, and the phoenix is pretty much invincible.
