First I want to say is that I agree with the mechanics of the cloakys. Must exist in the context of war, psychological warfare.

But if we think about how snipers operate in a war, the enemy has ways to locate, even visually, with hard work.

But I do not agree that a person can stop 100% of operations in a system, opening an alter and going to bed for 10 hours, and nobody can do anything.

I want to say that we need mechanics to locate a cloacky camper in EVE. Not instant ones, nor prohibiting things.

1-Could be a POS or SOV module deployable in 1 hour to allow scanning cloaks in a time window of 15 to 30 minutes. Even with notice to local (we are talking about counter someone who is not ingame, others have 1 hour to go safe, logoff or watherver)

2-Could be cloack deactivation every 2 or 3 hours if AFK (click control or similar)

3-Could be something related to the consumption of capacitor in cloaky camper ships (but it can affect too much to recons).

#1 is the best in my opinion, because you need SOV or a POS to deploy (it means this is "your home", your system, you have some control),
you yell in local that the module is in deployment, add a timer window if you want, then you need to find the ship. If the cloack isn't AFK, he can logoff when the module is deployed and back as soon as possible (15 or 30 minutes) or start warping between safes due to combat probes.

I think someone who is not in the game should not have that great impact as it has.

It's a start point to discuss, be constructive mates :)
