I'm curious about T2 invention and industry in general. I've tried looking up some videos on how to do it post Crius but I all the ones I find are from pre-Crius or only show the UI changes for T1 production. Can someone link me to a good video explaining how to go about it? I appreciate it.

Invention changed very little, the ui did but the math is pretty much the same behind it.

Its pretty simple tho you input
1. datacores
2. T1 BPC (runs, me or te doesnt matter)
3. decryptor (optional)
4. meta item (optional and only available when there are any)

And the output is a t2 BPC.

The chance of success is as following:
Modules and Ammo have a base probability of 40%
Frigates, Destroyers, Freighters and Skiff have a base probability of 30%
Cruisers, Industrials and Mackinaw have a base probability of 25%
Battlecruisers, Battleships and Hulk have a base probability of 20%

They require 2 science skills (same name as the datacores) and a Racial encryption skill that matches the module/ships racial belonging.
The science skills adds 0.8% success chance per skill level and the racial encryption gives 0.4% per level.

The decryptor changes your chance of success, number of runs, ME and TE on the T2 BPC.
Meta level item inputs simply adds more chance of success and tend to be seldom worth it or make very little difference.

Calculating what is most profitable can be difficult and there arent any super good tools for it right now (as far as i know) so I stick to my spreadsheets.
