Docking SuperCaps

Since CCP is making them subcaps by nerfing the jump drives in to the ground, We should be able to dock these fine ships of nerfdom. it will allow us to use the characters for other things while waiting for the Cool down timer to expire.

Outpost Upgrade, Supercapital Docks: Tier 1: 1 Super; Tier 2: 4 Supers, Tier 3: 16 Supers

Password locked and visible on the outpost but can't be engaged.

what about npc stations in lowsec or nullsec. just let everyone dock wherever like it is now with no hard limits. otherwise what happens when joe blow super pilot number 8932 decided he is quitting eve and dosent resub? his super would still be docked. big power blocks like the cfc could lock out npc stations by just docking their supers there.

it was an article on TMC where james 315 said CCP should nerf super cap hp and let them dock. too long ago for me to be bothered to dig up though.

The neat thing about lore and RP is that it can always be expanded upon. Just because there weren't stations big enough in the past doesn't mean there can't be in the future.

this just the fun thing about opening new doors as it were....always get the peeps who say well....how about this door now.

Gates were a consolation prize for the changes coming my take on it. Not seeing the need to expand it. POS mod can house them and well call me old school, this would be why when you plan to fly the really big rigs, you generally plan on having the sitter to go with it.

They'll probably write some lore about how they ride along the outside of the gates warp tunnel instead of inside it.


Anyway, OP post doesn't seem to bad. Maybe it should have cost associated with it, pilots having to rent super cap hangars out.

Yeah - I guess there was an implicit agreement between player and ccp - that when you committed a pilot to a supercapital, that's pretty much all you would be able to do with that pilot. Which was fine. Many people were willing to make that sacrifice. Myself included. Now supers will be changed in the extreme, and that agreement needs to be looked at again.

I will either sell my super or if I cant get good money for it, just sit in it, un-subbed, until I can - or never - whichever comes first. One less account (that's not meant as "I'm quitting! rage rage!" - but if I can't get out of my super, and I can't really use it very much - why would I sub the account at all..? I could sell it and take a loss yes - but then what do I need the account for anyway...?

ok i missed that, truth is am not very active in eve atm link? or is it speculation?

and docking 1000 carriers is ? not saying that they should be able to dock, just saying that ypur argument is weak at best
