My EVE

A friend asked me to convert a ship into something like from a comic or graphic novel.. very little texture, mostly solid colors and shading, a little more cartoonish.

Would love opinions. I'm also working on my techniques for filming in-game with the advanced camera options and doing some special effects in a few programs. I intend to make a web series that does not use half-life characters in situations gamers are never in (chasing each other through stations and such).

I recognize that in EVE, even in RP, your character is as much your ship as it is you. The combat we can all relate to is not running around on stations but flying around in space. I intend to do voiceover acting and holographic images of avatars, but for the most part, the ship is speaking, because you are plugged into it... you are the ship.

Anyways, I'll post a test video as soon as I have one ready.

What are the rules for charging for stuff like this according to CCP?

In other words... can I charge real money or ISK or either one?

What if I printed it on a t-shirt? Can I sell the t-shirt for real money? Can I trade it for ISK since it is a physical object not a digital one?

I probably need to contact CCP if I'm going to even consider anything beyond taking ISKies for digital versions.

To answer your question in that instance... I was offered 200 million to do a banner with graphics like this. Honestly if I can do 2-3 of these and buy a PLEX, it is well worth my time.

Glad you decided to take this to another level. Just as long as you make sure you finish my banner and signature with that Rupture image (lol). Like I said last night. Really good work! I'm glad I stayed up long enough to see it done.

Also, you should start monetizing your work as others have said. I have some in-game bros who're more than willing to compensate you for a custom signature or banner.
