can not connect to game on port 26000 or 3724 - uninstalled and installed game 3 times....same results! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I HAVE BEEN A PAYING USER FOR OVER 7 YEARS!!!! SOMEONE FIX THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Running Windows 8 64 bit
- Windows Firewall: Port 26000 TCP (open for in/out)
- Routers Port 26000 open
- EVE Pref.ini file: Port 26000

As of 06:37 am (Central time) - I have the same problem!
I WANT CREDIT TO EVERY DAY I CANNOT CONNECT! (THIS PROBLEM IS YOURS...OWN IT)

Cannot connect to 97.237.39.200 on port 2600

As of 1 October 2014 06:37 am (Central time) - I have the same problem!

ping to 97.237.39.200 loss of all packets

DAMIT SCOTTY GET THOSE ENGINES STARTED, Your upgrade is a FAILURE in my CASE!

CAN I GET A LITTLE HELP HERE??????????????????????????????????

Search Indexes seem to be missing...
so creating private contracts or searching for Characters or Corporations in People & Places fails...
searching for agents still works.
Wondering if this is also the problem with the Market forward/backward issue? all local data indexes?

A normal ticket would probably be the better choice for your kind of problem as there are loads of users who obviously are able to log in. This is a feedback thread for Oceanus related things only.

With the new notification feature when a contact comes online you can no longer tell which label you have assigned to them.
Please add this to the notification as standard Probably above the time stamp

The new cloaking effect is drastically increasing the amount of time you appear on overview after hitting cloak.

Jump through Gate > Align > Cloak >Warp

You can be targeted for several seconds after hitting align > Cloak.

Blockade runners will now be totally unable to run blockades

Also getting a warning telling me I cannot cloak as I am within 2000m of a jump portal array, even though its 9 km away.
It seems that if you warp to an old bookmark for an array that was moved in this patch, the game is still considering the array to be exactly where it USED to be and not letting you cloak.

Contact your ISP, highly likely they are blocking ports.

Have you connected an another physical computer to your network to verify this already?

...the cloaking effect looked somehow strange on my system, so i decided to play around with the settings.

i found out, it has something to do with the settings of the "Shader Quality" in the ESC menu of EVE

Normally i have every Setting on high there, but with Shader Quality set to High i get the weired "2D lookalike Glitch" in the process of cloacking / decloacking. When i turn it to Medium or even lower, the glitch is gone.
