Collateralized Loan for newbie miner

Hello there, I am a miner operating out of high sec. I am just about to finish training for a Hulk, but i cant afford to purchase a Hulk right off the market.

I am looking for an initial loan of around 250 - 300 MIL to purchase and fit my Hulk right away instead of using a Covetor as a step ladder to make the required ISK to purchase a Hulk.

I am hoping to take out an initial loan from a willing player for ether the ISK for the Hulk, or a fitted Hulf (rigged with cargo optimization Rigs).

I have more time on my hands right now and therefore i can log on to EVE each day and mine for about 2 hours.

I will pay, loanee around 1 MIL per day or 0.4% of the total loan per day in either ISK or mined Ores

The Loan will expire in 30 days, after which i will return the full loan amount.

If my math is correct, that's 12% return for your investment in one month. Hopefully by then I can stand on my own feet, and wont require any more loans.

The only collateral i can offer right now is a large amount of Kernite Ore, worth about 75 MIL on the market. I am more than happy to put as collateral for my loan.

If any player is willing to help out a new player starting out, please contact me either in game or through this forum.
Much would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

May i ask why none of your 86 corp mates with "a friendly and supportive attitude" is willing to friendly support you by investing in this offering internally?

If i can offer 120% collateral, i could just sell them and buy the Hulk.

I dont have the ISK thats the problem

Well i was flying in space one day and got an EVE mail from the Corp. I joined on a whim, but then i had a really busy period with uni essays, so i couldn't go online for much.

Right now the corp members feel like strangers, and i dont see many of them online because of the time zone difference. :(

Covetors are cheap and mine about 2/3 of what a hulk can mine. For 1/10 the price.

Don't fly what you can't afford to lose. If you need a loan for a hulk, you're not ready to fly one yet. You'll get ganked and cry eternally. Just don't.

you mean I will get ganked mining in 0.7 space in a Hulk?

In the same space that i use my retriever.

I see a lot of other Hulks around, and no gank action it seems

The man speaks truth - don't fly in EVE what you can't afford to buy multiples of. In the case of a Hulk, you always keep the Covetor tucked away in the hangar just in case your Hulk runs into some unfortunate accident. Especially since Hulkageddon V is a few weeks away.

(Spend a week and get some PI harvest planets up and running, if you do your homework you can earn 4-6M ISK/day in hi-sec with your 5 planets. Which over the course of a month is a lot less mining that you'll have to do to afford shiny things. And will speed up how fast you can get into a Hulk.)

Its a competition with some nice prizes. It means people will roam around and gank miners. Not a good time for a newbie that cant afford to lose their Hulk to be in one. Even a worse time for an investor to lend a newbie ISK for a hulk ;-)

That you don't seem to know what Hulkageddon is makes me really really not want to buy you a Hulk without full collateral.

I have heard of it from people on the local

They said something like 'it only takes 1 person to yell Hulkgeddon, for all the PvPers to go crazy'.

But i didn't know there was designated time frame for it

The worst case scenario is if i lose a Hulk, i'll have to buy a PLEX and pay the loan back.

Just means no more interest on the repayments.

If i am careful and watch my local, then i should be able to avoid the high-sec gankers

Watching local wont work. suicide gankers sometimes are not red you. You wont see them untill they start shooting, and then its too late. But watching who landed on the grid is better idea.

I have a hulk somewhere that just collecting dust. I can contract it to you. But I have to get out of wh I live in first. It has astronautic rigs (cargohold) and cargohold expanders, empty med slots and 3 strip miners I if I remember correctly.

Tell me if you want it.

Either ISK for a Hulk or the actual ship would be fine.

Can i ask where the ship is at? I mine out of Amarr is it far to travel to pick it up and is it in high sec?

Can you let me know please?

I suggest you using a covetor. It is much cheaper and will prepare you for the hulk. Before flying jets you have to learn how to fly a glider.

I have to agree, use the covetor, you can buy your hulk pretty fast that way. (well a damn site faster than in a retriever)

Dude, I'll help you. Way too many people in this thread tripping balls over 300 mil.

I get home in 5 hours, contact me ingame and I'll give you the loan no questions asked. I'll also help you figure out how to earn maximum isk while mining, as last I remember Kernite was not the best way to go.

Hell, i'll even mine with you if you'd like.
