I'm on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, using all of the canonical packages. ASUS Radeon R7 250X.

When I select a Race and hit Next, the game instantly crashes. The error message in WINE is
Quote:
LLVM ERROR: ran out of registers during register allocation

Appears to be related to the ongoing issue at https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=75276.

EDIT:
I was using the open-source driver to produce the bug; now testing fglrx-updates.

You need a decent version for the open source driver to get it to work but once you have that, it's better than the fglrx one.

You need :
- Kernel 3.16 (3.17 prefered)
- libdrm (git version)
- llvm (git version or 3.5 if git fail to build)
- mesa (git version with all "patented" features enabled)
- libtxc_dxtn (S3TC compression support)
