Hi there,

Can anyone tell me why I can do my planet interaction stuff from several light years away and not being able to handle my ME & PE jobs from one jump away (ok, in another region, i'll give you that)?

Idea for a change? Put everything on light years in stead of within certain jump range.

You realize that it'd most likely have the same effect, right? That one region gate jump probably covers more light years than 20 jumps through the same region.

You ever did PI?

Or used a Jumpdrive?

true, that could be the case, but the strange thing is, that whenever I'm changing my research jobs, I can still restart my PI mining jobs (or as I would like to think, kick the foreman in getting back to work).

But the main point is, why have two different systems in place to cover distance? Any devs here to answer that?

Your probably dealing with more bureaucracy and red tape dealing with station commanders than your own settlement lava colony where it's hot.

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me why turrets hit my target instantly from several dozen kms away and missiles do not (ok, they do hit after some time, i'll give you that)?

Idea for a change? Make all weapons hit instantly in stead of after some time.

The question should be more - why doesn't Remote Sensing skill control the range from which you can do your PI restarts? Why should you get a free ride without training any skills to restart your PI from anywhere in the universe - unlike other things like market orders and industry jobs.

If you're looking for an in-game explanation, It has to be due to politics and bureaucracy, just like you can't see the market in other regions, but you can see contracts just fine.

imo the real question is why complain about this at all there are so meny things we would like "fixed" before this enjoy your universal pi control before ccp decides to take it from you
