Eve-Merchant Lotteries Shares

A Simple offering (I'm not one for words)

In an effort to try and separate Eve-Merchant Lotteries from the competition, I am offering out the option to purchase shares within Eve-Merchant Lotteries.

About
Myanapa Corsica has been a one many corporation for a long time and has been running Eve-Merchant for a long time. Since the unfortunate circumstances around Blink, I felt a huge hole had been left behind and it needed someone to step in. In light of this several other corporations have also noticed this and now offer their services with a similar product.

Reason
The idea in releasing the shares is to have other players interested in the venture and hopefully make it bigger and better than the competition.

Shares
I am offering out shares at 10million isk each of which their will be 450.
  • Shares will be limited to 100 per person.
  • 550 Shares will be kept by myself to keep control, however the ISK obtain from these shares will be re-invested.

Dividends
This will be paid out on the 1st of each month (unless otherwise communicated/stated) from the profit obtained from the site.

Profit
Profit will be the amount of deposits versus that of the ISK paid out to obtain the prizes, with a 75% reinvestment to allow the lottery site to be solvent.

Risk
As with all things there is a risk:

  • Venture does not work - shares will be bought back at face value.
  • Scam - I would like to think that as an active member of the EVE community and also as creator/developer of Eve-Merchant with which I am trusted with over 350 active APIs, that for 4.5bil it is not worth it.
  • IRL risks - Unforeseen circumstances which are out of my control.

Dividends

These are paid out on the first of each month from the profit from the previous month.

Sept '14 - 118,556,887.50
Oct'14 - 352,854,000
Nov'14 - 389,632,075.00

I noticed you're limiting shares per person at 100. Are you aware that pilots can trade shares with each other? Or, will these be virtual shares, separate from the shares system within eve?

In reply to your question Koniforous, once a pilot has received their shares they are free to trade it with others if they want, the limit is in place on the initial shares to allow for a wider range of people to have a vested interest in the venture.

Axton, you can either send it directly to myself or the corporation, just advise me where you send it and I will make sure you receive what is due.

It's pretty odd that a lottery website would need ISK. Also you never mentioned how much the dividends would be.

I had considered the 2nd point and ignored it because I know of Kivorno. I actually would like some sort of explanation on the first point as you do raise an interesting point. Already having the isk from deposits to buy prizes, a lottery site should be relatively self sufficient.

This means my investment is put on hold until an explanation of some sort is given.

You raise a valid question, it is not because I am in need of ISK to start the lottery or to buy prizes, it is so I can have people other than myself invested in making this a successful venture.

So for example if an investor is talking to someone about a lottery site or gambling site they would be more interested in promoting my site as they would gain something out of it rather than just another lottery site.

Dividends would be paid the 1st of each month out of the total profit made from the site. This is worked out by using the deposits against the purchases for the preceding month.

So you're asking for money you don't need and you're giving away nearly half of your profit for a measly 4.5b and advertising from a handful of people? I'm sure there's better ways to promote your site that wouldn't eat so much of your profit for such small returns.

Elizabeth, I can appreciate why you could be skeptic, it seems like I get very little and give away a lot. But I'm not just in it to make s little bit of money but to also help others and provide a service that I think is better and a little different from other sites.

In addition to also having a few shareholders, we also have a referral scheme which is an ongoing 2% of a referrals deposits which no other lottery site is doing.

I don't want this to be another generic lottery site, it needs to be a little bit different and I believe this to be one way in which it can.
