Just wishing everyone a happy turkey day.

May your cholesterol spike an all time high and your turkey coma be uninterrupted.

ALSO: Thank you to all the men and women of the armed forces today. Especially those working rather than enjoying this holiday with their loved ones. Your families miss you, and your efforts are never forgotten.

God Bless

I am in the armed forces. But not your armed forces. Do I count?

I drain ducks of their moisture for sustenance.

Why no love for the person working the gas station so you can drive to your loved ones?

Why no love for the person at the food store so you can get that last min thing?

Why no love for the fire fighters, at work, just incase something goes worng frying that turkey?

The armed forces crap is some real brainwash garbage.

Special thanks to EVERYONE working ESP on t-day to keep me safe, fueled up, and able to get those things someone else forgot. Roll

I dunno the gas station guy going to run into a burning building for me? Think has more to do with personal sacrifice at the risk of ones own safety...and people working as a bagger last time I checked wasn't in the job description. Now of course im appreciative... I'm thankful to anyone providing a service towards me, but uh risky jobs involving life saving measures get a bit more praise. Cause lets also face it anyone can be a bagger, but not everyone can do the other jobs.

How about the EMT's on call? The firefightters? And the security guards?

How about CCP. =D

Or maybe that one guy, that had to come out and fix your internet / cable because you were trying to play EvE rather than be with family.

You're supreme amount of butthurt is obvious, good sir.

They had a choice, they choose to go into the armed forces, it is not even the most dangerous job you do know.

What I think cell tower (or just tower not sure) climbers was or is number one, farmers (you like food right) it also very high on the list.

I myself am very sick of seeing "special thanks" to these guys who are doing a job, they picked to do. Nothing is special, it is not the most dangerous job on earth, and yet again they CHOOSE to do it. It is kinda sick to see how much everyone sucks up to them, and ignores everyone else. Someone in the armed forces is no different than anyone else, they choose a job, like all it has risks.

O btw was with fam for the holiday and I do not have any of the jobs listed but thanks for worrying about it!

But really, when these guys are not in combat they are just as safe as anyone else, a cell tower climber is in combat everyday, a farmer, a fisherman it would seem. I'll let you look for yourself.

that is as off 2011.

So no seafood for you (or thank them)
No wood... (hope your house is steel... maybe)
No flying... (meh)
No food (better grow it yourself)
No power (if you are in the usa as most comes from coal)
rofl, No roof on your house, or fo it yourself...
No garbage pickup... (stinky)
And nothing from the store or online... as... they are all trucked in.
And if you could find it... nothing from the machines that make them, because the guys who repair them are on the list.
And last on the list... cops...

Kinda find it funny that "omg fire fighters run into burning bulidings they need to make more money" yet lol they aint even on the list (and no put down, it takes guts to do that) Armed forces aint on the list.

Why they get that special thanks again? Hell it seems pretty safe to me, you have a better chance to be killed driving a truck.

Either way everyone does a job, and we should all thank everyone, no one is higher or lower IMHO.
