Crime & Punishment

So we had a fight with the Devs, things were going well, and everyone had a good time. I originally joined the public fleet to blend in and pop CCP's wrecks-but the FC's were pretty cool and the pubbies worked well together, so I decided to play it straight.

The fight was pretty fun, I was able to podkill three CCP fleet members as well as make the mails of 17 more and scored 24 total kills during the engagement. I was flying a cynabal and got primaried 7 times. I managed to warp out or jump through the first six times. The seventh time-17 CCP battleships made my killmail. I was happy to get what kills I did, and as my ship exploded I took a second to look around the field at all the wrecks. I looked at the fleet and BAM-I was back in Jita.

I expected to see some -10.0 sec guy on my podmail...When I looked it up, I was horrified to see that I had been assassinated by CCP. Thats right-CCP podded me! Making me first player in Eve's long history to be podded by CCP using a non-AOE weapon. I was killed by turret fire from CCP ships. Thats right ships-two of them.

I know that my political stance has angered CCP. I understand that I have pissed them off by forcing CCP to change the game by my actions several times. (Contract display interface and salvaging mechanics are a few of the things they had to rewrite because of me v0v ) I get that CCP is upset with me for stealing the election even though I have worked hard as CSM.

Maybe I had it coming :D Perhaps giving them a giant oversized golden Monocle and boxes of Nerds® brand candy at the "Emergency summit" in July wasn't so smart on my part. Maybe my stance as CSM has them riled? Or perhaps Goons paid CCP to assassinate my character? Could it be that Darius JOHNSON couldnt restrain his Goon Roots and ordered the hit? Maybe it was retaliation from the art department about what I said about the space barbies.....we may never know.

I am proud to join in history with the likes of Martin Luther King, Abraham Lincoln, John F Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Rorschach from Watchmen, Hellen Keller, Uri Gheller, Mike Hunt and Mark Malarkey-as people to have been assassinated because of their political beliefs and the power they wielded. Unlike them though-my clone was up todate.

All I lost were the implants I had in my head: A Snake set HG, Slave set LG, Odins Eye, Neumon family Heirloom and two sets of +5's (which I have petitioned the loss of) and my trust and faith in humanity.

Thank you CCP for this event. Most of the participants I spoke with said it was the most fun they had had in Eve to date and were happy to participate in this historic battle. Although I only managed to make the killmails of 20 CCP ships and pods while being constantly primaried-I'll try harder next time and I am not mad. Well not as mad as you are apparently :D

TL;DR CCP assassinated D3, he isn't mad but they are.

Nothin but an egotistical, maniacal, self absorbed bloated soul-less human sack just like the rest of them.
