Having my EX restricted to the eve forums only (EX = eve experience), I couldn't help but notice a rapid succession of changes in how some character pictures look. Most notably Sybill, but also Solecist and Inda ....

Do you gals / guys keep track of your changes somewhere ?

I really like your current looks but I also like(d) your previous looks.

Is there a repository of past profile pictures somewhere ? Somewhere other than my local cache Smile ? I need to know ... What is CCP's stance on this ? I mean there is a vibrant community around the character creator and barbie doll like dress-up module ... and it's all out of game. Why ?

Can we get a stand-alone dress-up module with occulus rift integration after Valkyrie ?

I don't know whether there is a server side cache (probably don't), but I keep track of all my girls, not just "final" versions that last for some days or weeks (or months), but also experiments and failed "not-final" versions.

Actually, I even have the first character I created at Sisi, back on October 16th 2010. That build of the CC didn't had sculpt function, so everybody had the same base racial model and couldn't modify the face.


PS: Jill, if you fancy some old portrait of Ish, Indah or Yiole, just tell me...

Yeah, I watched AT XII and on the last weekend they had CCP Bayesian at the desk. This reminded me of a threadnought in GD a long time ago: "The future of our prototype ..." or something like that.

Hah, the look on her face and this frowning, as if she wanted to say : "don't you dare posting pictures of me."

Do I want pictures of older "you" ... mmh, maybe. I think it makes sense as you progress, to look over your shoulder from where you came from. A bit like your emploment history ...

I for example started of as a bald headed ex- Caldari Navy soldier. My first job was alt representing my corp in a holding corp of our alliance. Then I was out of that job when the alliance failed. I took on marshalling for the sub-warp racing venture and took my military expertise to the forum as a part time forum warrior. Then came Incarna, which started my fashion fetish.

Heh, no such thing as "employment history". I just make up looks for the sake of making them, not as a part of RP'ing the character.

Otherwise, the "Pumpkin Girl" or "Angry teen Ish" would never have happen... Blink


PS: I have 87 different portraits of Ish, 54 of Indah and 29 of Yiole. Wow! Lol
