Mining In WH?

Last day trip I had into a C1/C3/C4, I noticed all the ore sites are still up for all to see. Is ccp going to change this back to where you have to scan them down in WH at least?

I ask, because in their current state, its freaking suicide to mine them?

Its just as dangerous to run anoms if you do it wrong

Maybe time to bring gated complexes to wormhole space :(

That way the lower end ores and stuff could be mined with a more granular level of risk/reward even with wormholes open :S

i.e. aslong as you have a scout on the first gate you'd have a reasonable chance of escaping. (Unless someone is already cloaked up inside, etc.).

In no way should high end ores ore gas be available in this way though.

mining in wormhole is dangerous , if you really want mine asteroids do it when you have not scanned static and dont have frig holes in your system or other holes low clss wormholes still are quite solitude so good for mining

If you are someone from out of system (weather k-space or another w-space system). Its pretty damn dangerous to mine unless you are gonna put the manpower into having a few scouts watching the various entrances/exits as well as any sudden appearances on dscan.. but even then your gonna have problems with people rolling into the hole your trying to mine in.

That being said if you live IN a wormhole you can mine with some safety by closing your connecting holes and mining before the new ones open up to outside systems.

Per CCP Fozzie at the WH townhall meeting, there is just as much mining occurring in w-space as there was before the change. So there is no plan or desire to change it.
